Yes, Congratulations to USA Athletics and Team Anderson. A surprising ending to a tournament with 15 of the top 20 teams including all the top 10 teams in SoCal. USA Athletics were impressive with HUGE bats including 2 legitimate (over the 200’ fence) home runs from 2 girls. WOW! I haven’t seen that from a 10/11 year old player yet, great job girls!! TM has built a quality team with Nationals on their mind and a great opportunity for a top finish.

With an unusual pool play structure, USA Athletics lucked out on their bracket draw with their only real challenge, on the road to the championship game, coming from Watley in the semi final game. The other side of the bracket however was stacked with Firecrackers (#1), OCBB (#2) and Jynx (#3). However, after beating Impact (#10) in the first round, Team Anderson (#8) stunned everyone by taking out Firecrackers in the quarters (2-1) and then Jynx (4-1) in the semi’s. With Anderson leading 2-1 in the Championship game, USA Athletics put 3 runs on the board in the 6th inning and ran out the clock for the victory!

I watched many games this weekend and saw great teams with excellent coaching everywhere I looked. Good luck to everyone headed to Tennessee, Utah and Oregon. Represent California well and bring home the Championships from all 3!!!

dont know why any team headed to Nationls, westerns, would want to play a strike force team. when u could play in the OCBB, or against 12 u teams.

Probably worthy of a new topic requiring a new SoCal10UDude but so far this early these are some 2000/10U teams forming for 2010 - 2011 season:

8. Valley Tribe 2000

Thanks SoCal10UDude,

Update: So Cal Gamers will be forming a 2000 team and possibly a 2001 team.
Although we are a new organization we plan to design a model to develop and teach girls from 8U - 14U, getting them prepared for the upper divisions. We will be opening a private training facility in Murrieta (sometime in Aug) for which our teams will have the tools and instructing to get better and for their unlimited use.

We will have try-outs in early Aug. for the following teams:
01 (possibly)
00
99 (active team)
98
97/96 (active team)

We look forward to the 2010/2011 season,

Please contact Brian @ 951-760-9490 if interested in a private try-out before our Aug. try-outs

SANTEE IS REC, BUT THEY HAVE A PITCHER WHO IS INSANELY GOOD, I MEAN I STILL CANTG BELIEVE HOW FAST AND HARD SHE THROWS. SHE THROWS A HEAVY BALL, IF YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN. ONLY PITCHER IN 10'S I HAVE EVER SEEN WHO ACTUALLY HAS BICEPS THAT ARE DEVELOPED, WEIRD BUT SHE IS A STUD. WE ARE FROM FULLEETON AND PLAYED HER A FEW WEEEKS AGO. SHE WORKS HARD, THAT IS OBV IOUS.
