Teams Disbanding

[Seventy7Pop]

Other than BB Snow, who else has fallen apart after States? I recently heard that Strikeforce 97 has folded but I cannot confirm. Anyone have any solid info?

I was just at a tourney and saw Strikeforce 12u playing.....

[Seventy7Pop]

Could just be a rumor and nothing more but have not seen that 97 team in any of the tourneys or friendlies, not even at States.

I heard jynx 97-Garcia isn't going to Westerns. I know jynx-Gil is going to Vegas but has anybody heard about the 97 team?

Someone told me San Diego Renegades 97 (#30) folded after states.

[luv2catch4]

I would say Renegades 97 must have folded being that the head coach's daughter was playing with San Diego Aztecs at Best of the West tourney this past weekend.

[ReubenKincaid]

interesting. I heard that the head coach's daughter went with Breakers/Sieber. But only hear-say. Hard to keep up with the rumor mill.

I heard the 10U team from Los Al was calling it quits

[blahblahblah]

I've heard the same thing the (10U Los Al team ) SoCal Athletics is done. Some of them I hear are looking at SoCal Top Team, they have a 99 team starting in August.

Strike Force 97 is completing the season with a trip to Park City for Triple Crown. They have lost 2 of their top pitchers, but there are a lot of girls on that team with heart and the desire to play and compete. So, they are going for it!!!
It will be a first time experience for some of them, all the better to help them prepare for the ASA level next summer.
However, IF there is a SF97 in the fall, I imagine it will be a different team.
