Going out with a bang in 2010

[Carlos Arias]

The 2010 softball season sure was fun.

I had a great time covering all the talented players in Orange County and beyond. I met a lot of great players, parents and coaches. Some of you people are insane, but I love insanity.

I promised to go out with a bang and after two days, seven games, seven national anthems, seven renditions of "YMCA" and 49 innings I made good on my promise. My championship coverage was fueled by at least 15 Riptide Rush Gatorades. Championship weekend was awesome from Ayala of Chino Hills' amazing comeback to beat Warren of Downey to Santa Margarita's wild finish to survive against Corona.

If you want to take some time to reminisce, I have put together a list of links to my blogs throughout the season. Here's how your friendly neighborhood blogger saw the 2010 season:

Thanks ocsoftball. I'm trying to talk my boss into covering some of the top travel ball tournaments. You might hear from me before 2011.
