Lutheran won their regional last night 4-0. Play Henryville and Tecumseh this weekend in semi-state.

Don't forget about North Central Farmersburg in that regional at North Davies they play Tecumseh in the first game then Lutheran vs. Henryville in game 2.

The 3A regionall at Edgewood should be a real good one also.

New Pal vs. Edgewood and Roncalli vs. Boonville.

How many of you picked Hamilton Southeastern vs. Terre Haute North for the 4A Finals?
I felt like Jennings County would be there and was surprised that THN beat them. Not surprised by HSE though. Pretty good team getting hot at the right time. Could be a good game.

Saturday will conclude the high school season with the state finals at Ben Davis for 8 teams.

There has been much discussion about high school ball, good coaching, bad coaching, quality of play and I have been right in the middle of said discussions on many posts on this board and even some "Is it June Yet" t shirts made(by the way I have some 2x and 3X's left brand new and will give them to anyone that is interested just pm me) but as I reflect and anticipate what will be my daughter's last game in her high school uniform I have to admit thru all the good times and bad it has been a fun ride for this dad.

With that said to all the Seniors who will be playing their final game in their school colors for Hamilton Southeastern, Terre Haute North, Ft. Wayne Bishop Dwenger, Boonville, Wheeler, Linton-Stockton, Riverton Parke and Lutheran win or lose your high school careers will end in the last game on the schedule and you will have a medal, a ring and a memory that will last a lifetime. For some there will be more games to play at the college level and for some this will be the final time you ever put on a uniform and the cleats. Enjoy the moment and best of luck to all the teams that will be competing in the finals.................

Not only is this the final game for many high school seniors, I believe this is the final game for Ft Wayne Bishop Dwenger as they are one of the few High Schools to be closing. So this is really the end for that school. Pretty bad pill to swallow for the schools that are being closed.

Best of luck to all the teams left standing. And for the record, Ft. Wayne Dwenger is not closing down.
