Best 12U North Texas Undecided

Play4fun stated on another post:
I saw the 96 Diamonds play this weekend and they are a good 96 team; they are getting stronger. Hang in there and keep up the good work!!

Why are they not playing in the HOF qualifier? They could see some great talent. I know they already have a berth to nationals but according to the California boards, a team can play in the HOF qualifiers and still retain your berth.

They should enter, I think they would do well and see some of the same competition that they will see at nationals.

Round one travelers, round two Glory.Sounds like it was two terrific games. Is it true a pickup player left before the tournament was over? If so what was the reason? If your teams are so good why do you need pickup players.Did someone get hurt? That would be the only reason a team would need a pickup player.
It is very entertaining to read the posts between the Glory and Travelers parents.Keep it up.This will only help when we come to the metroplex in a couple of weeks. We will then show the best 12u team is not from north Texas.

After watching these two teams play, all I can say is good luck.

95 Texas Elite had some ups and downs but good team

Sneaky Cleats good little team

96 Diamonds - getting stronger and more confident in 12U

Glory (Gray) - getting weaker

Fireballs - good little team

It wasn't very different from Moline, really. A short story this time, rather than a novel. Instead of a Glory dad challenging a mom from an opposing team to fight in the parking lot, you had a Glory grand dad charging into the Travelers' dugout to pick a fight with a coach. Lots of screaming and cursing.

To be completely fair, the entire Glory organization isn't cut from the same cloth.

As I said in an earlier post; I don't think everyone knows all the details but I do know the people you are talking about use to play for Travelers and I think the father helped coach until last fall when they went to Glory. Great kid and great family; I saw this poor kid crying her eyes out after the game and then the parents got upset. I don't know why but obviously there are some something there that we need to let them handle. Remember, its about the kids and not the parents gossiping. I know that I wish I knew all the details but I don't.

Good luck to both at the HOF; it will be great to send them both to the HOF and Nationals. My daughter's team won't be in the top but these two teams will give south Texas a great run.

I will start keeping track of the events for everyone, that brings the total to 3, if I am counting right.
1) Fight with Kruzzers coach, where police were called out if I was told right
2) Possible fight in parking lot at Moline
3) Tried to pick a fight with travelers coach
Let me know if I am leaving any thing out, I can't wait to see who this guys are in a couple of weeks.

Greench,
For living down south you sure seem to keep up with the North Texas teams.

I don't think Glory Mom is who you think she is... here is a one of her previous post's

New to this site,Just found out about it from another parent at the tournament this weekend. Been reading all the post, some are pretty funny. I'm still trying to figure out who everyone is. I think I got Wizard figures out, He said he was a Travelers Parent?? Could be that cute pitching coach they got?? MMM MM M

I don't see her making a comment like this one (although it is funny) and she also makes comments about being on an older Glory team. Maybe 94 Drummond or Elliott or even maybe an imposter which is highly likely with the bad feelings towards Flannigan.

Anyway, like the wise Wizard said, let it be about the girls.

Good luck to Glory and the Travelers and now its back to work again.

Hey I am not a pitching coach for the travelers.

greench, you said let you know if you left anything out, well you did .There are two sides to every story and you left one side out. like txballclub said,we dont know all the details. And you must be one of those people that repeats what you hear without getting the facts.your words "if I was told right". Well, I am telling you "your wife won the lottery and is keeping it from you " you going to believe it or check it out? Just trying to make a point.Let the girls play and the coaches coach.
