Will also be interesting to see how these teams strengthen their rosters between now and July 15th.

I am sure Snow will qualify at Regionals. They will no doubt be at Nat's. They belong there but just need to take the long road. That may make them mad so watch out.

just got off the phone, heard a rumor that OCB-Snow imploded after losing, can anybody confirm or deny?

What team are you inquiring about...MG 98 or MG 97?

I truly hope you are just fishing. They are a very good team, just came up against a couple of really good teams at State. I did not see the Cruiser game but heard the pitcher was lights out. I did see the game against the other BB team and it was a gd game to watch, I think Snow had the only error and Ray jumped on it. It would be a shame to see them not chase this!!! It is nice to have the best teams represent Cali at nationals.

Agreed, the umps were fine, the snack bar was great (amazing to have such quality and selection when they host in BFE), surprised by the civilized coaching - tantrums were at a minimum, and most noticeably ... there is a ton of great softball in SoCal!

Teams that came close to qualifying for Nationals include TNL (came in flying under the radar), Firecrackers 98 (tough draw), and Team Smith (3 bombs in one game).

Every team can argue that their draw was tough (there were a lot of tough teams out there), but the team that I believe got the toughest draw (based on tournament results) and is the best team to not qualify (based on Bracky) was Batbusters-Snow (lost to Batbusters - Ray, 1st place and Cruisers, 5th place). I doubt any other team that did not qualify can say their team lost their two games by a total of 4 runs.

I'm sure that the subbing mistake by the coach didn't help! BB had runners on 2nd and 3rd when Cruisers noticed kid on 2nd wasn't entered into game. Runner on 2nd is out, runner on 3rd returns to either 2nd or 1st (can't remember). Ouch!!!

I don't think it's fishing. I heard the same thing, that it was a ticking time bomb and this was the final straw.
Let's go for the green!

not fishing at all (I do most of my fishing in the Pacific, specifically, off the back side of Catalina) I have heard info from a few people now, some second maybe third hand, but the rumors are swirling, some shocking rumors, but hey, this is travel ball, anything can happen and is possible, I guess we can only sit back and wait for confirmation

I would say Breakers (Imoto) had Tuff draw as well. Batbusters Ray,Firecrackers 98. Take away 2 costly errors With 2 out and nobody on they win the BB game. Great Pitching Job By #21 kept them fooled all day Next they played firecrackers 98 another tuff Game. Oh well that's the way it goes.

Great Job to Breakers Sieber and Sudden Impact Have fun in Indiana.

:o

the only one that I witnessed go over the fence was the one hit by an OCB-Ray kid during the Power Surge game

I also heard about a Team Smith kid blasting one out as well

Saw 2 huge homeruns from Firecrackers 98 in game with 98 Batbusters. Wow keep that team together next year look out.
