Ace, I've never understood this love-hate relationship you have with umpires... you love them, but invariably they hate you. It just ain't right!

Maybe if you tried hating on them a bit, they might throw a little love your way?

 With all the amazing umpires that post on this board, you would think that there would be more amzing umpires on the field. Me thinks the math doesnt quite add up.

Well, I'll go on record saying, I don't like the CIF rule about a coin flip for home team, if both teams had home games. I think the higher seed should be home. Only if they were the same # seed, I think they should flip.

With that being said, I'm sure glad it's the rule THIS season!! Valencia(Valencia) lost the coin toos and will travel to Valencia(Placentia).

Again, I hope we can give them a good game!!

There are only four seeded teams. All the other teams are listed as league standings. So if a team plays in a weaker league and finishes higher, its an advantage based on your proposal. If you do it by overall record, then teams schedule weaker teams to pad their win / loss record.

I do think that if you ARE one of the four seeded teams, you should get the home games, but I only agree thats the way it should be for THIS year. ;)

Ace, explained like that makes a lot of sense. But, I do agree. If you are on of the #1 seeds, you should get homefield!! Oh well, at least I'm not driving to Valencia Tueday.....

Easy guys. Maybe Nzane just "mis-spoke" and was referring to the switches on his ENIAC PC. The picture below shows him postng to HB:
