My thoughts on Satiago protest

by Carlos Arias » Thu May 20, 2010 11:48 pm

I just posted a blog about my thoughts on third-seeded Santiago of Corona possibly protesting its 5-4 loss to Rosary, a wild-card team, in the first round of the CIF-SS Division 1 playoffs.

Let me know what you guys think.

I highly doubt he thought it would make a difference, then oh sh*t! we are in the 8th inning! Just proves that the "overrated" comments were warranted. It does happen though. Link fomr last year playoffs below

My take? It is an incredibly STUPID rule!! And, Rosary was STUPID to do that!! With that being said, Corona Santiago, you lost it on the field!! Deal with it!! Don't take away a hard earned victory from the Rosary girls for a STUPID rule violation!! You didn't lose because of it!! You lost, CAUSE ROSARY beat you on the field!!
Go.....
Angels,
Raiders,
Lakers,
Trojans!

Carlos. Your thoughts are right on the money!! Win and lose with integrity. At a minimum---file the protest before the game starts and be done with it. Doing it after you lose is a coach in denial never giving the opposition for beating him---well--- I guess it fits this coach’s MO.

His quote in this morning’s PE was “my girls asked me to file the protest”. Now that’s some funny stuff!!!!!! Carlos—do you think for one second he had a team meeting at the end of the game and asked the girls what he should do???

Could be, and that's where you step up and show some integrity.

Carlos,
How about a game summary? I don't give a crap about pissed off coaches. I want to hear about the GAME.

The Santiago coach's actions have deprived the Rosary girls of their due for a great game. All I'm seeing in news articles are JP and protest.

How about some news?

Word on the street - no protest now

Now, look what we have here before us. We got the Saracens sitting next to the Jones Street Boys. We've got the Moonrunners right by the Van Cortlandt Rangers. Nobody is wasting nobody. That... is a miracle. And miracles is the way things ought to be.

There he is! That's him! That's... the Warrior! He shot Cyrus!
