Your statements about the clock could not be more wrong in my personal opinion. You do not have to play the clock, just let the kids play the game. In most cases the only thing on the line is a crappy shirt and/or a plastic trophy. The purpose of playing at this level is to PLAY. Running short on time is the perfect chance to build confidence in high stress situations.

I would agree with you 3rdbasesnag, on all of your observations.....one observation that I would have for your question posed is that every week, there is umps with differing strike zones, brackets with all the good teams hitting each other early, etc. However in my mind, the good organizations have the pressure to live up to the organization. Glory, Elite, etc. have a foundation built that takes lots of work to maintain, so they work very hard to keep it there. Now I also feel that there is too many teams at the 14u level trying to play at the a level....i feel that soon there will be a narrowing of the field.

cool....then you know we are happy to be in what I feel is one of the good organizations. And I too am happy in the direction our coaching is going and also feel we will be a team to watch out for real fast. I figure I probably know you...however I am not all that active on these kind of things until recently....when some people make comments that don't make sense or are derogatory to a person or organization.....if you saw our game against 95 glory, then we for sure have seen one another.....there weren't that many people in the park, but they sure came over for that game.
