"Also, this 97 Glory team has beaten 96 Fusion on more than one occasion, beaten DBat Mulvaney on more than one occasion and just this past weekend beat the 96 Diamonds. Now am I not here to suggest they are necessarily better than any of those 3 teams, but they are talented enough to get victories over those teams. Those 3 teams are considered some of the best first year 14U teams in DFW. I dont think any of those Houston teams, with the exception of Red Hots, has that kind of resume."

Big deal, most of the 12U teams here whip up on the "elite" 14U teams all the time.

Could surprise (in no order) Hawks, Power and Cruisers.

Everyone else will just be helping the local economy.

Okay - okay, I apologize I did not mean to leave one team out. So here are my new picks...

Red Hots
Storm Elite
Ice
Sting

Could surprise (in no order) Hawks, Power, Cruisers AND High Voltage.

Everyone else will just be helping the local economy!

It sounds like this is turning into a Dallas vs. Houston thing. Don’t count out the Austin teams also, three of them are real solid. Who knows one of those Midland teams could be a dark horse as well. This will come down to the draw, who is deep in pitching, and who happens to be hot this weekend. Many of these teams are capable of beating each other. This is a real solid field, Texas is proud of you ladies!

97 Glory has alot of talent and not one person should dispute that, but they have some issues, one being head coach choking in big games. Choked hard at Southern nationals last summer and lost several players because of it. Our Houston teams are far superior coached in game than Glory.

Good luck to all especially Red Hots and Ice97.

And that pretty much sums that up as well.

DFW teams said the same thing the last time these girls were all second year 10U and H-Town clearly had the better teams.
