I don't have a horse in this race other then my DD Plays 12u, but you got to love this little dig he adds in there. I'm guessing he is still a little bitter at getting beaten by a 12u team with 8 players no mater what he says.

I didn't make it to the tournament, but I have enjoyed all the chest thumping on here this afternoon. My picks are above, could someone who was there tell me how they panned out? Looks like I did a pretty decent job.

Out of Pool A - Phantomz and RH
Pool B - Storm and Bombers
Pool C - Power and HV
Pool D - Sudden Impact and TCB (Stars withdrew)

Phantomz beat HV
RH beat Power
Storm beat TCB
Bombers beat Sudden Impact

RH beat Bombers
Storm beath Phantomz

RH beat Storm for the ship
Bombers beat Phantomz in consolation

Thank you for the results update. Looks like I did pretty good for not being from the area. Anybody that does not take the TRH seriously, regardless of age, is just plain dumb. They are an awesome team, and I know last year they were able to accomplish a lot of things that most of the second year 12U teams could not. Assuming they have been able to keep it together, I would think they should do very well at ASA Nationals this summer. Thanks again Tres Monos!

I believe it was a Bombers parent that brought your twins into it first, then it was your own duaghters coach who braged about them later. He is just honest, I think opinionated. He is the one who braged about beating two 12u teams handily without his gold player before the turny was over. He not only disrespected the 12u teams, but his own team by doing so. Just remember that all select teams work hard, so they can be a competative like the Phantoms.

phantomz27 wrote:On another note, I have heard of teams playing up but never seen a tournament that allows teams to play down with 12U teams that is listed as 14U?? Not saying that we won't get bounced around, even with our two gold players that are playing with us on a regular basis when it doesn't interfere with their Gold team (or the 7th grade pitcher, #27, that we have, funny how I never hear anything about that, only about the "Gold" players), by some of these really good 12U teams.

How is this bragging?? I was explaining that the twins are playing with us on a regular basis and poking fun that people are so worried about the twins, but never say we are at a disadvantage because of the 7th grade pitcher we have who, IMO, throws just as good as the twin.

I'll cut and paste the other post I made but I do not know how to get back to it right now but I do not believe I was bragging themn either. It's you and all the other A holes on here that just love to talk about other people all the while hiding behind a screen name. Badger Milk has not responded, Mother Goose has not come out of the barn again, Hotbox is Hotbox, full of a lot of hot air. Like mental giant said, it was a no win situation for the 14's and I am looking forward too a rematch with any of ya'll.

phantomz27 wrote:What 12U pitching you talking about?? I have not really seen any that are just dominating, but we also have not played the ICE. I know they have at least one very hard throwing pitcher. I am anxious to get to the park today to see if there were any 12U upsets of 14U teams. The two we played yesterday were taken care of pretty handily and our Gold pitcher did not even pitch both games?? Hum, wonder how we could do that without her going both games??

Here is the second one I posted Sunday morning. You people are reading crap into nothing. I simply asked where all the 12U dominatiing pitching was. We had beat the Redhots scoring 5 or 6 runs and the Texas Gems, not sure how many runs we scored in that one. Bottom line is that all I was saying is that I hadn't seen anything too special. We have played the Redhots so we know what they have. As for the twins, I again was being sarcastic because everybody thinks they are the only reason we can be competitive and I do not think that is aboslutely true.

I did not disrespect anybody nor did I disrespect my team. Good gosh buddy, can you read between the lines and read these posts with the cup half full instead of always being half empty.

Thanks to another hiding chicken little,
Mark

PS: 3monkeys, you never answered. How was california?? Get your hats handed to ya?? C'mon big boy, why did you quit treating me like a third grade child and I never got a friendship bracelet and if I did I would have burned it by now. I do not understand why people right here in my own back yard want to dog me behind a screen naame and act so dang friendly to my face. Ain't happening no more.

The dig was at the TD for putting the 12's and 14's together without letting us know. That just does not normally happen nor have I ever played in a tournament that the five pool games seeded you into a bracket and the pool games were finish the batter. He first had it drop dead. That is my only dig on this comment Mr. Daniel. I just do not understand why everything I say has got to be construed as bad. I sat there and complimented Ray on what a good team he has and was offering no excuse for getting beat. I just thought the TD didn't handle this tournament like it should have been. This tournament was posted a long, long time ago.

Would everybody hear this please???

I AM NOT BITTER ABOUT LOSING TO A 12U TEAM. IT HAPPENS AND I HOPE WE GET BETTER FOR IT. CONGRATS TO STORM ELITE 97, YOU PLAYED A GREAT GAME. I HOPE YOU WIN EVERY TOURNAMENT YOUR IN EXCEPT WHEN THE REDHOTS ARE IN IT TOO. LOL

THEY WEREN'T THERE OR WE WOULD HAVE SEEN THEM. WHAT GRADE ARE YOU IN? THIS IS ABOUT THE MOST STUPID POST I HAVE SEEN IN A WHILE. SO US AND THE HOUSTON POWER ARE JUST AVERAGE, BUT ALL THE TEAMS YOU LISTED ARE ABOVE AVERAGE. I WOULD SAY THAT TPS IS MORE THAN ABOVE AVERAGE DINGLEBERRY. OTHER THAN THAT, ANYONE OF THE OTHER TEAMS YOU LISTED CAN BEAT ANYBODY ON ANY GIVEN DAY.

GO BACK TO YOUR COW PASTURE AND EAT SOME MORE CRAP MR. FLY

Mark, you are a funny dude. Since you cannot recall how many runs you scored against the GEMS...let me help you......ONE! Yep, you beat the 12U GEMS 1-0 and from what I saw you were lucky to do that with all the hits they were getting. And yes, the "gold" pitcher was pitching the whole game. She is outstanding so definitley no disrespect to her or the Phantomz. Just trying to help Mr. Show's memory since Sunday was a long time ago. I would hate to see what would happen if you were facing "dominating" pitching.

My understanding is that while you were getting your a$$ handed to you by an 8-player 12U team, the 14U team was playing hardcore SoCal teams. And as far as you not knowing it was a mixed 12U/14U tournament, you are full of shi*. The combined posting was out there at least a full week if not two. Why do you think some of the 14's dropped?

I treat you like a 3rd grader because that is the level of education you come across as having. You talk like a little school girl. Keep it up and I am taking your milk money.

As far as the weather in California, I will take a wild guess: "It was a beautiful day and weather
was great!!"

Now get back to work, you burned my fries last time.
