Backing out.....

by backofftheplate » Fri Apr 16, 2010 10:26 pm

Cinderella, If the shoe fits.....Wear it!

You have to feel for these coaches who, thanks to teams that pull out at the last minute, have to redo schedules, email teams, over and over again. You almost can't make your plans to either attend, or host until the last minute to accomodate all the teams that drop.

OP made a valid point, which can be taken to heart by any team that fits the discription.

This is a reply to Stevos comments. I am the Mgr for the Santa Clarita Ravens. I backed out of his friendly because I needed to do what was best for my girls, that is all you need to know. The funny thing is that this guy who put everyone elses name out there wasnt even man enough to put his name on the screen. I apologize for having to back out of his friendly but it sure does say something about you and your organization if everyone is backing out of your friendlies. The friendly we backed out of was the So Cal Mayhems friendly in Simi Valley. My team isnt afraid to play anyone. We are a new team so if you (stevo) have any problem with this Santa Clarita team, stop being a little baby and call me instead of hiding behind a computer.

I'm sure everyone will be scrambling to invite you now.

Perhaps you would like to explain the above statement?

What precisely does it say about SoCal Mayhem, that you and a few other coaches pulled out of a friendly at the last minute? What does it say about all the coaches who kept their commitment?

And now, just for fun, take a moment and consider what it says about you.

Doing what is best for your girls? By dragging down their reputation? And for what again? Oh, right. Never mind. I know all I need to know... your word isn't worth stuck mud.
Don't worry about tomorrow. You did that yesterday.

Lady Bulls? Or in common English, 'cows'? Or perhaps female prison employees?

No offense to the kids, just seems like an odd choice for a name.

It's an oxymoron, like "jumbo shrimp", "never again", "working luch", and "ill health..
plus "Knuckleheads" was already taken...
Deserve's got nothin' to do with it.
