So freaking hilarous how the whole pick up player thing is being used as an excuse by the 14Us and now the baby Rattlers. Congrats to the RH pickup player for putting up 7 runs on the Rats and shutting them out. Nice job. Congrats to the HV player who with just her mere presence and intimidating 6th grade education forced the Phantomz to lose.

Listen, if the Storm had picked up a 14U stud pitcher or a 14U stud stick, then, yes, I would say shame on them. The fact is they picked up two 12U players in a 14U tournament who were not playing their starting positions. Bunch of pansies!

Monkey, Storm Elite did not pick up anyone in the Rattlers game and the Rattlers are not crying about anything, get your facts straight. The point was their pick up in the Bombers game and the use of pick up players when the pick up players team is also playing in the same tourney. The Baby Rattlers went 5-1, their only loss to the Storm Elite, including beating the Bombers and 4 other 14U teams. Monkey, wow how applicable...

Did you read this first before you hit send? Try going back and reading the posts. Clearly you don't have anything else to do... I never said anything about the Rattlers vs. Storm Elite game. We didn't play well in that game and lost, period. Get back in your tree monkey...

My point here is give some credit to the 12u's that came out and battled with the 14u's instead of making up all these lame ass excuses as to why you didn't win.............

So , the topic of pickups from other teams in the same tournament is being discussed and anyone who disagrees with the way it was handled in SouthBelt is attacked as a sore loser or a crybaby . Using 3 monkey logic , it is OK to use them if they're 12 but not if they're 14 . Buddy , get passed your personal venedetta's and the juvenile behavior and discuss things reasonably. Even the coach came back and gave his side on the issue . Give credit to him for that even if you disagree . Some very good 12's beat some very good 14's . It happens in every age group . Congratulations to the Red Hots , Storm Elite and Rattlers (who beat the Bombers).

3M's was being a smart ass like most of us are on here. The 14u's Coaches thought this was a joke playing the 12's. They thought that they were going to mow down the 12's like a league team. Well they thought wrong. They ran into several brick walls. Every turn they made they came across another pissed of 12u team ready to take down a 14u team. Hell beating a 14u team was like winning a trophy for the 12's..... and they got a lot of trophy's. At least 5 12u's teams are no joke. That's been proven.

I don't see picking up 12's to play in 14u Tourney's makes a difference unless they're are coming off the top 5 12's. jk Either you can or you can't...... It's kind of like saying you're a 97 team with half 96's. With all the school sports going on you really don't have a choice most of the time. Without pickup players the tournaments would be smaller or may not make. Don't get me wrong I disagree with it BUT if you're the Coach or Parent that wins the Tourney then your views will change.

The 97 Rattlers beat the Bombers another shock.

Geeze people, you guys love to jump on Mark! I know the man needs no defending. No where do I see him be as childish and immature as you guys. He gave props to the 12U teams several times! He hasn't dogged anyone (except the over-the-top coaches - not girls). He simply pointed out an illegal player - which was true. (BTW, how does a coach put the wrong kids name and number down on the line-up card, if this kid is truly hurt - sounds a little fishy to me). It's over and done. Mark & the Phantomz have graciously accepted this loss. I'm ok with gloating about the win. You guys deserve to! Just don't hate, it's not pretty.
