I'm thinking the Power, the Bombers, and now the Phantomz are singing a different tune.
Why couldn't you beat a 12U team THAT ONLY HAD EIGHT PLAYERS????
And by the way, the girl that just scored the winning run in ITB is a SIXTH GRADER!!!!
LMAO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I do not remember nor can I fnd where I said there was no competition. There is plenty of competition at every tournament. My hat is off to the girls of the 97 Storm Elite, even the one that was pikcked up from the High Voltage team. She is a very good player and made several great plays at shortstop. No excuses from me or my team, we got beat. Somebody has to win and somebody has to lose, it is how you decide to handle yourself when either one of those happen.
I do not want to take anything away from the players on the 97 Storn Elite but I do think that the three coaches have some growing up to do. Shaking hands after the game and holding 8 fingers up to our girls is not very good spotsmanship in my opinion, not to mention giving extra hard high fives to me or my coaches. It was not my fault that your coach made out an incorrect line up card and I would think that since we were playing straight ASA rules, that we should follow them. Do you think if that were to happen at a state or National tournament that they would let you change it. Heck, I think I could have asked for the coach to be kicked out of the game for using a illegal player but I didn't think that needed to happen. It is the coaches responsibility to make sure the line up card is correct, bottom line.
Your team and your girls should be very proud as they beat a very good 14U team and like I said to begin this response , my hat is off to them and you will win lots of games in the coming year.
I am glad that the Redhots won the whole thing. They did a great job!!
Yours truly and keep the shots coming, I deserve it..
