Yeah it was a good game and I must reiterate the girls played their hearts out. But make no mistake about it, the playing field was nowhere even. I understand you have to stick up for yur team. When yur playing for that organization I would expect you would say that since the calls seem to almost always go your way. Fact is fact, Its no coincidence that there always seem to be controversy when the Grapes play, especially when it's their tourney. Unfortunately, there's not too many good tourneys out in NorCal but RR n Grapes, so take what u can get. It is what it is.

Here we go Nor Cal fans. We have all been waiting for the Fresno Classic. It is finally here. Here are some highlights on day one. CA Grapettes finish the day 1-2. They had a close game with the USA Athletics from So Cal who are currently ranked #4 and then they lost to the CC Dirt Dogs in a close game. AASA so far has lost to the bombers who are currenty ranked #3, still had 2 games left to play. CC Dirt dogs looked strong.A complete 180 from last weekend. They handled the grapettes and Rooseville heat. I have not heard how they did against USA Athletics yet. They have the potential to be #1 seed going into Sunday. RR Gold went 3-0 on the day. They beat Team Watley who is ranked #6 (3-0), beat Bakersfield Rebels (12-1) and then the big game with the So Cal Jynx who are ranked #2 (4-3). Right now I dont see that anyone can disagree that RR Gold is the hands down #1 in Nor Cal. All Nor Cal teams are having a strong showing against the So Cal teams. I am proude of all of you and the way that you are representing NOR CAL!!!!!!!!!!!! Good luck to everyone on sunday. New rankings will be posted end of day monday.

Dirt Dogs are a solid team but beat a very young Roseville Heat team 2-1 and got beat solidly by USA Athletics. Fircrackers, RR Gold, Batbusters and USA Athletics are definitely the teams to beat. It is a great tourney!
