We have used Captian U but have no real opinion yet. Oldest DD is a Junior and has used it to send out email (she also sent out her own w/profile and such). We thought it would be a good tool to see which schools would be at which tourneys but I have not been overly awed yet. Don't think anything about it just yet. Maybe it is more useful out west but here in the Mid-west it has not caught fire yet.

CaptainU seems like a decent service, for people that dont have the time to get things done. Why waste the money when you can get the same results. There seems to be a new recruiting company every week, promising the world.

Parents and Players that work hard can get the same results without spending the money on a recruiting service.

Dont let someone else control your daughters hopes and dreams.

I don't think you are letting someone else control your daughters hopes and dreams. I think you are getting her help to find the right option for her. My friend used a service like Captain U for his son a few years back and it worked out very well for him. He and his wife worked hard to get their son into the right college to play football and did not have much luck. He used a service and within a month it was a done deal.

LOL......never seen you pushing a service like this before. You have been around softball long enough to know that these services cost lots of money and stats can be manipulated in any direction.

I have not heard anything negative at all. I think that most of these services are charging very high prices to join with very little results. If this particular service is so good, them lets have them prove it.

Lets see if Capitan U will post the good and bad. The free download that you get is total crap. It is either common knowledge information, or info that can be obtain on the internet. I myself have downloaded the info from CapitanU.

Who are these so called connections with college coaches. Lets let them prove come creditability. You and I know they will not.....This company wants your $40 a month, with this $40, they are giving you ZERO.

I truly believe parents can get all recruiting done without paying a jacked up price. This is not just the company in question, its all recruiting services that I have researched.
