Player injured during Artesia Punishers friendly

The Scorpions organization would like to send our best wishes to the center fielder from the Artesia Punishers 14U. She had a bad collision with the fence during the last game of the day today and was taken away by ambulance.

All of our players, coaches and parents hope that you are doing good.

That park in El Monte is a menace. Hard chain link fences with no warning tracks. If you're going to keep the fences, at least create a warning track. This will keep happening until they do. Hope the City of El Monte has a nice chunk of money in their legal defense fund.

What were the other OFs doing while she was going back for the ball? Were they helping her out with her position, calling "fence" or "you got room" or just spectating. Did the coaches ever teach them OF mechanics or is it easier to go after the city because they have the big insurance policy

What are you talking about? Isn't outfield where you just put your weak players? Practice is just hitting them fly balls.
