" most teams think we are annoying and we're just trying to be there for the girls."

i didnt notice the cheering, but all the hits there at the end were extremely annoying.

You're killing me!!!

ugh...dammit, i couldn't stop myself...

Art, I caught for a 10u kid that was throwing 57-58 on my gun and checked her on another when I thought mine was bad. That kid is now 18, and now throws 59-60. 2 MPH difference in 8 years. I dont see her often, maybe twice a year now.

sb99 wrote:I think you were in such a hurry to try and get a laugh that you failed to really read this thread. This kid's dad did not start the conversation about her abilities. He wasn't the one making the claims in the first place. If you read what was said.... he was told that this thread existed and that people were talking about his child on it. All he has done is come in defense of his daughter. IF and I mean IF you had a child with her abilities.... you too may find yourself in a similar position. But I doubt very seriously you were or are in his situation at the 10U level. She is one of the very rare kids that God has chosen to bless with this type of ability. So you choose to take the route of making fun of him and therefore his child all at the same time...... publicly.

I have to ask you..... if you saw her pitch and she actually could do what everyone says she can..... what then would you have to say to either of them? Could you bring yourself to a public apology on the very same forum that you chose to publicly disparage them? And further more... what do you have to say to all the people not related to her that have come on here in her defense? Do you find it at all funny that grown men or women that say they have actually witnessed her are all saying she can do what was stated from the very beginning? You have one person from Louisiana... one from the metroplex and others from the East Texas area.... all not related to her coming to her defense. And these guys all have daughters and teams having to face her on the weekends. I think their voices speak loud enough. And you really should go back to your folding chair and watch your own kid and quit worrying yourself about the little girl from East Texas. You've tried your hardest to put them down and in so doing have only made yourself look to be less of a person!

Sorry, but I couldn't care less about this kid or any of her affairs. She throws hard? Well bully for her! Good luck at nationals, where she'll be facing a little stiffer competition than the Louisiana Whatchamacall'ems. But whether she comes in first or dead last, it's really all the same to me.

This board is populated by many parents of legitimate superstars. Kids who have dominated for years on the biggest stages in the sport. Funny though, you never see them on here bragging about their kids. You want to know why? Because they aren't jackasses, that's why. Because they know that if a kid deserves praise, she will eventually get it without mommy or daddy starting any pathetically transparent threads on Heybucket. "Any good 10u pitchers this year?" LMAO. Riiiiiiiiight.

This board would be unbearable if every parent who thinks his kid is exceptional was given free license to come on here and brag about her. So if you are the special kind of asshat who feels entitled to do that, prepare to be ridiculed. And no, making fun of a parent does not constitute "making fun of...his child all at the same time." If that argument actually makes sense to you, you should petition for a full refund of any tuition money that you have ever paid.

So, to answer your question, no I won't publicly apologize for disparaging anyone. I didn’t say a single negative word about the kid, and the parents…well…apologize for what? They (and we both know that by "they" I mean YOU) owe the rest of us an apology for subjecting us to this idiotic thread.

So tell us, just for comparison purposes so we can relate here in So.Cal- we've seen TPS 98 last year- how would your Texas pitchers this year match up to last year's TPS 98 pitchers- whom I would say were pretty solid?

Just askin'.... :D

Back to the original question, sorry the child play gives me a headache. This is what I have noticed so far. I will also say I have not seen all the teams that are playing in the Mizuno tournament.

99 Cobras, very good pitcher, defense and offence. The back up pitchers needs work.
99 TPS, two good pitchers with a good offence and defense.
99 Threat, one good pitcher and one OK pitcher. This team has a very good defense and OK offence.
99 Kruzzers, two good pitchers with a strong defense and good offence.
99 Rough Riders, OK pitching, good defense and OK offence.
99 OK Force, two good pitchers, great offence and great defense.
99 Bombers, one very good pitcher and one OK pitcher. Great offense and great defense.
99 Black Sox (D-Bat), two very good pitchers. The starting pitcher can go with the best of them. Very hot/cold sticks, OK defense.
99 Glory, without 98 pitching they only look average and will not be able to hang with these teams.
99 Mizuno, one very good pitcher and one OK pitcher. Offense is OK and defense is good.
99 Blaze, OK pitching. Good defense and OK offense.
99 AXE is like Glory, needs pitching and work.

I have watched a few of these teams play each other and the games were great. Kruzzers/Bombers, very good game with Bombers winning. Bombers/Black Sox, great game with Black Sox winning. Threat/Bombers, good game with Bombers winning.

The Mizuno tournament will be a great one and hard one to pick. My guess would be (Force, Kruzzers, Bombers, Cobras, TPS, Threat, Black Sox). I wont even try the order!

1st, 2nd & 3rd?
Cobras, Phantomz & TPS 99.

You choose the order of finish. The edge goes to the Cobras 99, they do the little things right!

I am guessing that 6th Sense is from H-Town area and somewhat biased and doesn't get out much to see the other talent in the region.

No team in this field will be able to lean on one pitcher to get all the way to the semi's or final's.

I'd say 3LeftTurns are pretty biased. Looks like he/she/it are NOT from H-Town. They got the 2 Houston teams he mentioned all wrong, he knows more about Dallas teams than anything. Whats the deal with a 98 pitcher pitching for a 99 team anyway. Does Dallas/Ok teams not know the rules??

3leftturns must be affiliated with D-Bat because I don't recall 2 very good pitchers playing for them especially a starting pitcher that can compete with the likes of TPS, Cobras, Sneaky Cleats, Mizuno or Anderson Express unless they just picked up someone last weekend.

The '98 player that he was refering to was playing in the fall last year for the Glory '99 team. She is obviously no longer there.

One team being left out of these conversations is Cenla Heat. I have heard through the grapevine that the Anderson Express '99 pitcher just might be picking up with Cenla the week of the Mizuno Tourney. Cenla already has a good team that placed 2nd at the world series last year.
