10u pitchers

We have faced Anderson several times. Boo is that good. No one hits her very well. Everyone has to realize there are more teams in the state of Texas besides the Houston area. East Texas has a couple of pretty good ones. We have played a Kingwood and Humble and they are the real deal and from what i hear there are several more teams down there. It should be fun to see who is the best in Florida.

Why is it hard to believe that a 10 year old can do what these people are reporting she can do? What will change 5 years from now that makes their claimes innaccurate today? She either can or can not throw that hard. If you haven't seen her.... i'd just leave it alone.... only makes you look foolish. IMO

Does she resemble the mailman, perchance?

I think this board has a lot of childish adults on it..... and you question the validity of a 10 year kid when you act like someone who is a lot younger than that!

Cash, I wouldn't worry about these people..... i just hope the kids don't read what some choose to post!

Well before you take us out to the woodshed, hear me out for a sec:

First, if we are childish, don't we deserve the same protection as a child? And, if so, shouldn't sb99 be reprimanded for saying mean things about us? Think about it.

Second, I don't even know what "challenging the validity" of a kid is, let alone how to go about doing it. I must admit that it sounds fun though.

Finally, I don't really see where any comments were directed toward kids. Silly, uber-newb parents, yes, but not kids. My own observation was merely that the "humble" apple in question must have fallen very far from the tree. I mean, he's on a national forum bragging about humility of all things. I ask you: is irony available in any sweeter flavor?

Now then, we are delivered unto your discretion. Do with us what you will...

I think you were in such a hurry to try and get a laugh that you failed to really read this thread. This kid's dad did not start the conversation about her abilities. He wasn't the one making the claims in the first place. If you read what was said.... he was told that this thread existed and that people were talking about his child on it. All he has done is come in defense of his daughter. IF and I mean IF you had a child with her abilities.... you too may find yourself in a similar position. But I doubt very seriously you were or are in his situation at the 10U level. She is one of the very rare kids that God has chosen to bless with this type of ability. So you choose to take the route of making fun of him and therefore his child all at the same time...... publicly.

I have to ask you..... if you saw her pitch and she actually could do what everyone says she can..... what then would you have to say to either of them? Could you bring yourself to a public apology on the very same forum that you chose to pubicly disparage them? And further more... what do you have to say to all the people not related to her that have come on here in her defense? Do you find it at all funny that grown men or women that say they have actually witnessed her are all saying she can do what was stated from the very beginning? You have one person from Louisiana... one from the metroplex and others from the East Texas area.... all not related to her coming to her defense. And these guys all have daughters and teams having to face her on the weekends. I think their voices speak loud enough. And you really should go back to your folding chair and watch your own kid and quit worrying yourself about the little girl from East Texas. You've tried your hardest to put them down and in so doing have only made yourself look to be less of a person!

Since I have professed my fondness of Skarp in another thread I will come to his defense, not that he needs or perhaps more importantly, wants any such intervention. I will readily admit that I have not gone through and read every post in this 5 page diatribe so I plead for the mercy of the court. However, based on my perusal of this topic, I do not recall a single incident of someone attacking the phenom in question. I believe some have questioned the integrity of some of the claims being made.

Dr. Spock's philosophy of logic compels me to side with some of those people as well. This is not to be interpreted as a slight against the young lady. My humble take on this whole discussion is simply this, who cares what all of us non-informed antagonists really thinks, by our own admission we have not had the privilege to witness her skills first-hand. There was no war for you to come to the defense of. I know, I know now I am beginning to exhibit the classic characteristics of an oxymoron, and Joe would claim just a moron. But you appear to be suffering from a classic case of Robert Conrad-itis.

Look, here's the deal. She is 10 years old. A lot of things can and will change for her in the next few years; some good and some not so good. If she is as dominant as a lot of people are saying then great, her actions and accomplishments will speak far louder and with far more effectiveness than any of us could possibly hope to accomplish (except for Skarp of course).
"Here's the deal, I'm the best there is - plain and simple. I mean I wake up in the morning and I piss excellence."
