1A Henryville beat 4A Jeffersonville Tuesday night 3-0.

Bloomington North 7 Seymour 2 Alisha Brewer from BN had two home runs, went 4-4 and had 5 RBI's.

Floyd Central 4 Jennings County 1
Jennings County lead 1-0 going into the bottom of the 5th. JC gave up a solo homer to tie the game. JC switched pitchers and made a few errors to give up the other three runs.

Monrovia started their season with conference double header with Speedway, winning both. Monrovia 5-10 Speedway 4-6

Last two days:

Center Grove over Greenwood 9-3
Center Grove over Southport 6-1

Pitching looks fine and they have a solid defense. Still have plenty of big bats. Freshman Kimmy Sullivan with 2 run homerun against Southport.

Southport has a very good young pitcher.

Too busy celebrating! DD was on base when Gray hit the HR. She's been on base for each of Gray's homers this season.

I have to admit I didn't think it was going to turn out the way it did. Harrison scored in the first inning and I thought, "Oh, here it goes." Still think that Harrison is a good team with talent and will make a run at the state title.

Your DD appears to have recovered nicely from her burst appendix. Very fast to first. I would have given her a hit when she reached base earlier in the game. I thought she had it beat out anyway.

Is Logansport in the same sectional? If so this could be the first year in a while that the Harrison/McCutcheon game does not decide the sectional.

One of her coaches said the same about the first hit. I also thought she had beat the throw before the error.

Logansport is in the same sectional and it could be a very interesting one. Logansport appears to have a good chance of taking it, I think.
