I always forget that most of the 12U parents may not have an older kid that's already gone through this once...The don't have a need to update because 95% of their tournaments/Organized friendlies...They are always FUN though!

AP over AA's 4-2
AP over Nemesis 4-0
OCBB Snow over AP 4-0 in quarterfinals (darn 1st inn - once we switched it up a bit, the girls shut them down)

Congrats to Anderson and OCBB Ray in the 'ship and Anderson is on FIRE in tourneys! (time to move them up Bracky!)

One observation though that bothered me - AA's girls played a great game - why oh why would their coaches make them do about 1 hr of running (and situps) right after losing! All in plain sight of other teams, parents and coaches between fields 3 &4?! I just don't get it... :?

Sounds like they shut you down even though you switched it up a bit in the Quarters. From watching them this weekend it looks very hard to shut them down as they have some weapons. Missed the initial part of BB-Ray vs BB-snow but Snow had way to many errors to beat a team like Ray's. TA really beat CA on every part of the game, they deserved to win this tourney.

heard there were errors on both side in the BB-R vs BB-S game, plus BB-R #1 pitcher was sidelined during this game and championship game

What I was trying to relay is that BB Snow scored 4 runs in the first inn off our starter but once we switched, the next girl was able to shut down any further scoring. Considering their shellacking of Bomb Squad in the previous game and knowing their famously strong offense, I think it is a big accomplishment for Pastime to hold them to nothing further in that game. Yes - we all know that the top 5 have premier pitching that will shut down many potent offenses - that is what we all expect isn't it? That's what they did to us. It was a good game no matter what (as were many of the games all weekend)...

Anderson is the bomb though! Just a wonderful, all around team! :D

Team Anderson #1 is a no brainer. Look at their body of work, pretty much every tourney they're in they win. Plus, they're getting better and better every time i see them, which is pretty scary. Nobody has their pitching depth. Coaches and players are calm, confident, and methodical. Poise under noise. A very well oiled machine....IMO :)
Stay thirsty, my friends
