Bombers Results Please

I rarely allow myself to get caught up on here arguing back in forth with individuals that hide behind computer names! I know by making this statement that I will open myself up as a target for alot of what I am speaking out about! But to bash teams made up of young girls just trying to play the game they love , makes no sense to me? More often than not it tends to be parents who find this to be some form of amusement getting into "virtual" arguments and saying things that they know they can never be held accountable for because of the flack jacket of the computer screen. You have people bashing just about everything they can on this board.....our sport needs more people working together to create a better product and to help provide more opportunities for all players! There is not a thing wrong with being competitive (There may not be anyone more competitive than me) but to get on here and bash people for pure amusement is really just something I cant understand.

Again , I want to sincerely thank all the Teams that participated this year! Your participation is helping us donate approx. $12,700 dollars to the American Cancer Society and the Comal County Relay for Life next month. Good luck to you all the rest of this coming season......

I rarely comment on HB either...but like you, I...I just can't help hold back. Your B-52 tournament is well known throughout Texas as one of the season's first. You're offering up a product, a service if you will... and when dealing with customers (teams)... there will always be complainers. It didn't matter if the weather was 72 degrees, sunny and no wind...someone out there would find something to complain about. Being responsive to factors that you can control is commendable.

The fact is...you have nothing to explain or apologize for....and you shouldn't be discouraged by any negativity on here or any other bulletin board. Your customers (teams) will vote with their dollars. And for the last ten years, they've voted overwhelming in your favor. The weather this year didn't cooperate, but some how you managed to get most of the games in, provided a good service to many, did some fundraising, and antied up some coin for a charity.

Sounds like a great start to me...

I saw very well coached teams , with exceptional young ladies battling it out in less than perfect conditions! It says so much about their character and the awesome coaches dedicating their time to help shape the lives of these young athletes. I appreciate the hard work you guys put in to create a chance to play at least some games in a very challenging environment that was created by the weather. Logistically, I don't know how you got it done. We did not perform as I had hoped we would, as I am sure many others could say also, but I have learned that 10 year old girls can put it behind them very quickly, and it is about them and not about me, so I am okay to move on to the next opportunity to excel. Thank you again for a great tournament. I can tell you that the girls of 99 D-Bat (Savell) truly enjoyed the experience and the area, and we recognize the dedication to fastpitch softball that the Bombers organization epitomizes.

Props to Fusion for representing DFW as one of only three 14u teams there. If D-Bat and the Diamonds would of been there then 3 of the top 4 would of been DFW teams instead of Houston teams. I guess $$$ is tight now.

If the rubber hadn't broke, you may not be here. That's what "if's" are made of. Only time will tell when those three teams and the six or seven from down south here go at it at some point. But I wouldn't go that far to make that type of prediction. Maybe you just got rode hard and did not get wet

Kruzers - great team . POSSIBLY the best .I guess you miss the point . There are class teams all over the state . Blaze , Bombers , Scorpions , Roadrunners . There's a few more . Wake up.

I think they have a pretty good one that lives in Mansfield...and has taken them pretty far in the past.
