The City/Parks & Recreation usually makes the decision whether or not to allow games. I am not positive but I think in Hemet its a different story. Numero Uno might now how that works out for Diamond Valley. Our games ended up getting canceled in Downey afterall and that decision came from the city.
Are umpire fees a factor in the host's decision to cancel? I've heard some umpires will charge you for 1 game if you cancel after they get there. Host teams wouldn't want to get stuck paying them if it is doubtful games will be played. Anyone have insight or experience with that?
Hey Charlie Hough, aka you know who, know this, one teams happiness can be another team's sorrow. Leaving a team with only a back-up catcher means one thing, KARMA BABY!
