Which High School teams are going to make a run this year?

Coppell, should make a run. Loaded with SR's, but have underachieved the past 2 years.
Grapevine also might make some noise.

Abuse is a perverted way of "winning" over others. It is the opposite of being a good sport.

Rockwall should be strong in their district and probably even further, they lost pitching depth to graduation, and their leadoff and #3 hitter as well. Defensively, they should be strong up the middle but may struggle early in the season for leadership until their younger players begin to develop in that area.

Rockwall-Heath should do well but won't have the dominate pitching they had last year. Hitting will be ok as well as their defense. They got a new head coach and it may take a while for them to learn and her to learn them.

Royse City will be strong in the circle but may struggle defensively. Not sure what they have at the plate.

Must agree with you on that one. I think The Woodlands are another one that should be on the watch list as well.... They are Young but all play Gold ball ;)
And no My DD does NOT play for the Woodlands or Tomball

If I was a betting man - I would bet that you will see the Magnolia Bulldogs make a STRONG push deep into the 4A playoffs and it wouldnt suprise me in the least if they made it to Austin...

They have 3 legit 'Gold' level pitchers on the roster - including a 4 yr #1 pitcher
They have big young hitters
Great defense (so far)

Just my $0.02
When asked how many times she hit Tiger with the golf club, she responded, "I'm not sure...put me down for an 8!

Dear Mad Dog:

Are you saying Tomball has already played 21 games? I'm sure your team is going to be great this year, but lets not get ahead of ourselves. I saw a couple scrimmage games Tomball played last Friday, and while Tomball won both their games, those are not games that count.

Tomball played in two High School Pre season tournaments. These tournaments combined had over 80 teams entered. They ran to table on both, and they are very good. (thats where the 21 games come from)....
