She pitched a great game and deserved the tie. We all get a little "Rec-itis" from time to time. I guess FC99 can take it as a sign of respect.

Wow FC - are we still debating the FCs running for an "injured" girl with your fastest runner when down 1-0 in a friendly?? Listen, let's put an end to it. The FC are the best team in 10U and no one is debating that. You are right, the Bombers are out of rec and very proud to represent Northridge/Granada Hills, and we are still learning the t-ball world. I am not one to go on to HeyBucket to talk about games, other than both teams played a great game and I have the outmost respect for the FC. The FC are the best 10U team out there. If you want to talk further, give me a call 818 355 0848. Take care, Coach from the Bombers (a former rec team).

Cal Knuckle up, Strike force 99, So Cal Venom, all have been beat by Murietta Impact but i have a feelin some of your coaches that help you out on your poll are from Strike Force (lol) . Bottom line is that friendlies r friendlies and Tournament results will determine the poll.

Watley looked a lot better than I had anticipated after losing more than 1/2 their team. But they didn't go to the Mizuno friendly either to play the best teams which was probably a good move. I can definately see them in a month+ taking their old #5/#4 spot back which is the perfect place to be right before St. Paddy's Day Tounament. But for now, they are not quite there yet and I was much more favorable to them than Anderson who also lost half their team and are now #13. Yes, they probably have one of the best 2000 pitchers in all of 10U, quite possibly the United States for that matter, but a great 2000 is not a substitute for the elusive great '99 to be competitive and make it to Nationals.

The Strike Force coaches are not in my loop BTW...

Valley Tribe 10U has folded.

There is no one of significant points from the last poll to bring a replacement in based on that so I am open to some light feedback on teams to replace them. Right now I am thinking Murrietta Impact to crack the top 20 or we can simply wait.

Let me know !!!

But no where near the top level of teams of last year Firecrackers '99 only team that is on same type of level as Franchise,Victory, Crunch or even American Athletics of last year. So in a way yes more teams but alot of mid level type teams ie Desperados and Dynasty of last year.

Well this certainly is the year of "quantity" and not so much "quality", so yes I do agree with you. It seems on the whole the pitchers last year were a grade or two higher on a lot of teams in 2009 than 2010.

Crunch, Franchise, AA, Victory all had strong #1's and #2's and other then Firecrackers (CF99) I can't necessarily say the same this year. A girl like "Dora" @ Crunch98 pitching a true/real 50mph even in the fall 2008 a yr ago hasn't really been seen in 2010 so far (closest I would say is the Jynx pitcher) and when I hear these coaches talk about their pitchers doing 52-54mph (a 'parent' told them that ---just had this conversation a week ago with a coach), who just doesn't know what he is talking about, sorry coach!!!

What I do like this year more than others is that right now #2 onward is up for grabs and a lot of teams could step up and improve and take things wherever they would like. Not saying they can't take #1 but last year 1-4 was pretty tied up one way or another and the only reason why Dynasty 98 qualified was because Crunch had their berth from Western's the yr before and didn't enter States. I can still see certain top 15 teams with the right adjustments qualify still and last year barely had 10 active teams.

I like this year much more than last year overall...

Damn Dude!
You have got your ear to the ground. Pretty impressed you know so much about last years 10u division? Do you have a 99 playing? My guess would've been Jynx but they weren't around last year? Hmmmmm. Anyway, keep up the good work. Where did the 2000 flame thrower come from? RY must have had one up his sleeve? As for the Bombers Coach, good job leaving the lefty in to finish. She pitched well. Plus I heard her dad is a big guy :o

I agree friendlies should not have affect on rankings!!!!! Alot of coaches use friendlies to try out postions for certain players or give other pitchers some time on the mound.
As for the comment about pitchers speed. I dont think a pitcher has one set speed. My daughter has been clocked at 45,50,51,52 all in one day.....LOL Listen if coaches or parents want to say there pitchers are at 52 who cares.....they probably were clocked that at one point. I blame faulty Radar guns! Some lady had a gun on my daughter this weekend and it jumped from 57 to 45...come on :o !
Anyways good luck to all the teams. I think we do have some awsome talent out there :D

I agree that parents are crazy. Everyone wants thier daughters throwing in the 50's. but not many teams are at that level. I also agree we don't have teams like Crunch, AA, Cerritos or Victory. They were fun to watch. I was a fan of crunch but mostly because I know Dora and my neice played for shawn in chino so I loved his coaching style. My guess is so cal dude is from FC99 and he played for Crunch last year. since they have a few of there players and he seems to know alot about crunch.

Yes i agree that friendlys shouldn't totally count in the polls but please lets not be crazy. Teams don't want to lose and play to win, from what im seeing. Maybe they move players around more then normal. But when they play another top team they play to win.

Power surge99 is dark for rec ball. The wise choice of the coach was let there girls play rec ball with their friends. Then come back in May and try and compete. Our team is not worried about ranking Impact. We don't need to bump up our ranking. Everyone knows we are 2000 and we will let the teams we play decide if we deserve a spot. And yes we play top teams, Jynx-Bombers-CE-SMBlaze-KnuckleUp-Mizuno, we travel to OC and have a few times to play and we WILL be at ASA States. We will play anyone who wants to, including Firecrackers. And no we are not crazy we dont expect to win just compete. We may be small but our players have big hearts and love playing so we will see you and anyone else on the dirt. and if i remember we beat impact 7-5 the last time we met. I'll say this we will be the TOP TEAM NEXT YEAR AND WE WILL EARN A SPOT IN THE TOP 20 this year. See you on the dirt everyone and thanks Mizuno for a great friendly. Well done we had a blast, see you at the next one

8-) TAKE OUT POWER SURGE PLAYING REC / EASTON WHO KNOWS /VALLEY TRIBE NO MORE / SPOTS 3 AND 4 NOBODY. MOVE EVERYBODY UP. NOW THAT WOULD BE A GOOD RANKING. SO IF ANY TEAM WANTS TO COMPETE THEY NEED TO START PLAYING IN GOOD FRIENDLYS AND TOURS. START BEATING RANKED TEAMS.
