2010 ASA Rule Book Pg.32 16U-18U Pitching Distance at 43'

[suicidesqueeze]

Have the Friendlies and Showcase Tournaments been using this distance or are they waiting for the girls to return from high school? Southern California C.I.F is staying at 40' through 2010 and moving to 43' in 2011. My dd is on a 95 team and they have played up a few times and I have not noticed a distance change.

We actually played in an 18u friendly a few weeks ago and they had us at 40'. I know we have moved 16u back to 43' for ours.

Az has adopted the new rule for 43' and is moving forward at the 16 and 18u levels. AIA, Az high schools, have also gone to 43' this 2010 season.

Good Luck to everyone, 43' is going to have an interesting effect on the scores, puts a lot more emphasis on hitting. Should make for some very intersting scores this year.
