You think they CE99 are backing out because of the 8AM game, you might want to look who the #2 spot plays, 1,2,& 3 rated teams. I am all about the saying "if you want to be the best you have to beat the best" (if any team deserves this is CE 99 with the previous trash talks about them being one of the top teams) but it is early in the year. I dont know if you will find any team taking that spot you may want to change the line up. Good luck, look forward to seeing some of these teams this weekend. See you Sunday.

If you look at Sureno's posts, first he/she says Corona Eliminators is #2 on page 4. Then a few pages later he says "Top 5". After the friendly in Mirrieta he then said "Top 10". They are not gonna play because they would've had a bad weekend with only 1 good pitcher and at best would've lost 2 games if not all 3 and he/she would've been forced to eat more crow or come to the realization that his/hers peers had it right all along that Corona Eliminators are a top 20 team only. They might be a top 10 team playing 1 game per day, but playing in a real-life tournament they won't get past the second round.

Sincerely,

Coming to a team near you...

I say put the bombers in that #2 spot. Good team. But Jynx, Bat busters and firecrackers are going to be tough combo especially back to back. Most teams have one pitcher who can get them through a game or two but to play the 3 power houses in the same day. good luck. Either way it will be fun day of softball and will test some teams, See everyone there!
CE99 smart move backing out- after all the talk you guys did you can not aford to get beat in all 3 games espeically after losing to bombers and Jynx last week, My advise stop talking and let your girls prove themselves. You have a good team :P

Great take ATD. I wanna hear from Softball Grandpa. Where you hiding GP? Love to hear your take?
For what it's worth, here's my .02.
CE99 probably has some good upside with their #1 being a 2000. Don't know if that's the majority of their team or a mix of both. I think they got a case of "newbie-itis". They were begging for a top ten vote when they started beating teams ranked 15-30. Sounds like they got a reality check in Murrieta? I remember being that 1st year team and getting stomped by the big dogs. I may be old school as are some others on here and Yes, you get better by playing the best! Lace em up Eliminators, come out, come out, wherever you are :o
