Yesterday I posted an anouncement that was removed. I apparently broke a rule by advertising a site on here. I am reposting it without advertising but with a poll to see if eveyone thinks it is needed.

Hello Coaches,

We are introducing a new web site for the Dallas / Fort Worth Fastpitch community at . It could easily be expanded to include the whole State if needed.

This site is still under construction and will have many features not available on similar sites. One feature is that the system emails tournament directors when you join or drop a tournament (no need for phone calls). Please remember I am not a programmer trying to make a softball website, I am a softball person trying to program a softball site. There are a few errors that still need to be fixed and I am sure there are some that have not been discovered.

You can log on to the site using the user id (test) and the password (test). Feel free to poke around in the site but please only join or drop from the Test Tournament.

If you want to join you can post your tournaments or add your team.

While I am associated with USFA site is not associated with any organization and you may post any association tournaments. Remember, to be a sanctioned event with any organization you must follow their sanctioning rules.

We have seen a need for a neutral site in the Dallas / Fort Worth Fastpitch Community. This is not an attempt to copy any other softball site, but rather to offer a viable alternative where all legitimate and above-board organizations are welcome to post tournaments. Our goal is to make tournament posting as easy as possible and to provide a site where teams and players don’t have to jump through hoops to play.

If you find errors or have suggestions to improve the site, feel free to contact us via the contact page. We covet your input; the good, the bad, and the ugly.

For more information, contact us via private message.

Why not post your tournaments @ www.eteamz.com under tournament section and you can also post them on the announcement pages. You can also use Heybucket under Texas section. The people that don't know about Heybucket sure are familar with Eteamz. With the response to the amount of people from North Texas on this board I would start here at Heybucket. ;)

A neutral site would be great as long as it is user friendly and easy for people to browse thru tournaments.

Where will they do it?

Same place DFW has posted tournaments for years.....VTD.
When qualifiers begin for ASA, hopefully ASA will have their site functioningfor us by then.
For teams that don't qualify for ASA nationals....USFA Florida.
