10U travel parents are on drugs or need to be on drugs. I used to have the most entertaining conversations with the late Brenda Marsh on how she use to encounter idiotic 8U and 10U parents and how she would bring them back to earth, great stories. Only a third of 10U TB players will be playing by 18U, and parents are mostly to blame for this.

Corona Eliminators rising fast......Won the So Cal Mizuno tournament this past weekend. Beating HB Breeze 12-2 in the semi's, and SoCal Mizuno 12-0 in four innings, to win the tourney. The offense came very strong, with several strokes into field. The lefty.....was in automatic mode.

The rumor is that this team is all coming back in 2010, and is looking to face the best of the best. With only one thing on their mind.......RESPECT.

Stop!

I bet they have a couple other things on their mind also, like "the playground next to the field looks pretty sweet", "I wonder what flavor of capri sun we get after the game", and "do you like sour gummy worms or just regular gummy worms better?"...

c'mon man, they're 10!!!
Deserve's got nothin' to do with it.

Obviously not all parents kids can just start playing ball at 14U like your kid...?
Since it is apparent that your DD never played at 10...?
Last I checked , the thread was and is entirely about 10U...?
Why are you here then...?
Nobody better to pick on..?

Mad-Dog, are you saying that you don't post on any threads that aren't applicable to your own daughter? Are you even from California? Last I checked, the thread was rankings in So Cal - why are you here then? --- Honestly, I don't care, I'm just making a point.....we all read and post in threads that don't necessarily relate to our daughters.
I think that "As The World Turns" made a good point and you have to know that anybody (whether it's your 1st post or 1000th post) coming on and making a post like IN-IT-2-WIN-IT did is going to get slammed. Let your team earn the respect of others - when you're that good, people will know. Everybody knows that the Firecrackers are an extremely talented team... not because somebody came on and made a post pumping their chest saying how good they are, but because they've proven it out on the fields. I have no doubt that the Corona Eliminators will be a good team in 10U....let them prove it without posts like this one.

I do understand your point Mad Dog, but the bottom line is....that if it wasn't As The World Turns, it would have been someone else..... yes, people can cut them a little slack, but at the same time, they need to know what's acceptable and what's not.....let them thump their chest to family and friends, but when they do it on a board like this, they'll be the one's getting thumped!

Very true, Firecrackers are the bomb - Great organization at all age levels - No, I'm not part of them, but I do have a lot of respect for them!!!
