Bobbyboy wrote:i did not see a thread. send me a link and i will post it . if it was there. i am glad. i agree that parents need to be on on this too. they should be number one in the teaching box. but arent all of us on here parents? so what is stopping you? have you talked to your kid about it? im not saying leave it totally up to the org to talk to the girls. heck orgs, dont talk to the girls talk to the parents. as long as they discuss it and educate.

about my beef with the bombers, you obviously do not know how to read. that is okay. keep getting defensive of your little org. i dont care. as long as you are arguing with me, you are creating drama and feeding my case. thanks a lot!! keep up the good work!

I can see the next headline

BOBBYBOY arrested for stalking Bomber Staff because DD couldn't make the team.

Shame on the Adult here for her actions but I see no corolation with the Bombers at all this is actully border line Liable if you want my opinion.

Instig8or believes Bobbyboy is not the real name and believes he has figured out the true identity as was challenged many pages back.

As BB is here attempting to anger those around "him", and continues to play the controlling villain, Instig8or suggests that BobbyBoy's real identity is...

is.....

is.....

ha ha! keep em comin! you guys are great!

and liability maybe not, but a responsibility to ALL the orgs (not just the bombers) to inform their parents and parents of former players that she had contact with . because like some body said earlier. it could have happend to others and they have not come forward. and a responsibilty once again, seeing as no one here can read, to educate parents or players or both on what to do if a girl is put in this situation and warning signs to look for.

thanks for the link spaz. but most of it is a bunch of bickering about lesbians and grammer. there is a mention about it happening and how it is sick and so on. but there is nothing about how us coaches and parents can prevent it from happening again.
we cant go back and change it no matter how much we want to take it away from that little girl (and she was a little girl, not a college student like some of the posts kept going back to college sex orientation). but i bet if we talked to her and her parents and the people close to this situation they would say we all need to find a way from it happening to any other person.

so get to talkin people. what can we do?

I think there is a level of responsibility on the parents part especially with allowing a minor to have maybe the opportunities to meet alone or whatever with their coach. There is a trust issue there, because most abusers are well known by the victim. I think there is nothing that could have been done differently from the side of any organization aside from checking background and criminal record. There is no way that they can know what is going on behind closed doors... that is the parent's job. I think young women just as young men (baseball) need to be educated about the dangers of not only the opposite sex but of the same.

Talking about you and your comments on this thread, you are a very annoying poster. You bring up a serious issue but yet joke back and forth with people with smilies and what not. Even though you are "trying" to get a serious response from people, you are not being successful because you sound like a complete idiot. There was no reason for you to have come on here posting as your head line that this was once a bombers coach...I mean obviously that would have come up, but in no way is the organization responsible for someone that was in their group a few years back.

Please do yourself a favor and delete your user name and never again try and partake on a conversation when in the end you are seen as just a complete moron, you do no justice to the topic at hand.
It's my opinion....and that's all that matters!!

I may be annoying, but at least I got your attention enough to post some important thoughts on this thread. Thanks for that by thw way. Sometimes you have to be annoying and dramatic and an "idiot" to get the attention that a subject needs. This one was "attempted" to be discussed on a different thread, but if you checked out the link you will see like i did that it was not talked about in the way it should have been. and maybe you are right. the org maybe could not have prevented it. but like i said earlier many times. they can do something NOW to be sure that this was the only girl that was a victim by notifying people and to educate their parents about warnin signs because like a also said many time before, things like this can often (not always) be prevented. if no body wants to talk about this, then i will be as annoying as i have to be to keep people on thins thread to keep people talikng abot how to prevent it from happening to another girl. because other wise people will just say "yeah i heard about that. she is sick and should be locked up" instaed of talking about how to keep it from happenin AGAIN. and even though you think i am "joking" does not mean that i find any of this funny at all. look past the drama and at the actual stuff i am saying about the real deep issue here.

so come on people. what can we do to prevent this from happening to another kid?
