Unfortunately a few bad apples are ruining the the whole bunch. If you go back and look you can tell there is one in particular and few others. I for one have decided to no longer responded to the jug heads who only want to incite and not actually do anything or say anything worth while. If you look at the thread that slade ( fusion) started it is very thought provoking. A few tried to hijack the thread but the others did well and not letting it happen.

I threw this idea out there last week partly in fun and partly seriously. However, upon further review....

(IMHO) Splitting the board will not change anyone's behavior online, will not fix whatever is broke in NorTex softball (and maybe elsewhere, too), and will not, in the long run, make Texas softball better. I'd like to think that by keeping it all together, we can collectively call the bad apples out whenever they go over the line, and can work (as Slade suggested) together to continue to improve the state of softball in TX.

Yes, this is just a public forum and whatever we say or don't say here and however we split or don't split the forum up is hardly going to change the world, but I have to admit that Slade's post got me thinking a lot and I might not have read it if it was in a NorTex section instead of in the Texas section.

I wish the people in NorTex would stop trying to solve their personal problems in a public forum but I think the tent should stay big enough to include them even if they don't.

Where would Lubbock, Midland, Odessa, and El Paso post?

And who gets the Alamo?

Well now let's not skip Houston, and put this all on N. TX. I remember reading quite a bit of 10 & 12 U drama coming out of Houston(especially Phantomz, etc.) or the other idiot who says he's from houston, moved to dallas, and now back in houston. Not going to give his initials, or name in hopes of keeping him relatively quiet! So maybe we could just ignore the idiocracy, and work on rational discussions! Just a thought! Honcho out! :ugeek:

Proofreading might be wise before thowing out that "ignorant" word.
