My granddaughter loves looking on this site. I tell her to focus on the actual games and not what people say here. People who know will see the top teams and players.

I think the players should write on this site and stop the fathers. It would make it more interesting and fun for the players. But it's just my 2cents.

Ummmm... that might not be a good idea. I would tell her NO HEYBUCKET FOR YOU [/quote

Gramps, I sure you don't play with her Nintendo DS? She shouldn't play with your Heybucket!

Calm down my friends, I was trying to make a point that dads and moms need to relax on here. Clearly It came across wrong. I'm aware this is a adult forum but the players do look so be aware. And yes I do play my granddaughters ds.

Well can we get a prayer group going to stop the storms. My poor granddaughter is very eager to play. And I'm to old to play catch in the rain with her all weekend, so please pray with me. No Rain

Keep the polls coming... I have polls from 1/2 of 10U teams on the 1-30 list. Not a bad sample.

#2,#3,#4,#5 can still go any which way and is a fight...

Polls will end/close tomorrow evening 12/11/2009 PST.

Unbelievable. This is exactly how rumors get started.
Let's get it straight - they are all 95's with the exception of one 96!!!!!!

I think the last 9 must have been posted upside down 6. :D Common mistake though, they look like they play like 96's :o And as far as "peaking to soon" these girls have only been playing together for 3 months. Definately the team to beat ;)

who are (if any) the returning 10U teams from last years So Cal State tournament? Is the 1-U Firecracker team the old Cerritos Franchise group? I noticed the 'crackers picked up the Mothers Day tourney so Im just adding the 2 up?
The spirit, the will to win, and the will to excel are the things that endure.
These qualities are so much more important than the events that occur.

Yes the coaches and a small core of girls are from CF98 (and coaches from CF97)and they grabbed a few of the 99's from various teams (Crunch, Dynasty, etc.). Their try-outs were actually as CF99 and soon aligned with Firecrackers thereafter. I think "peaking too soon" is definately one of the things they need to be concerned about and always need to push the girls forward. Many strong fall teams are not always in the same spot come spring time. That is probably the only obstacle they face unless the team falls apart which based on how the girls jelled, does not seem like that will ever happen.

Last year this time it was "SoCal Crunch98 and everyone else" with AA98 and CF98 right at their heels. VictoryUSA 98 is a perfect example where the development of the team was paced properly and peaked properly right at States in May and later onto Nationals. Hardly anyone even heard of or was talking about VictoryUSA98 this time last year. While it may be a one horse race at this time, I wouldn't bet against any future team come May right now.

I took a look at your poll. Madness really should not be included on this 10U poll. They are almost all '98's, I think they only have one '99 so they are moving up to 12U starting January.
