10U and 12U Katy Classic will be played 12/10-12/13 @ Bayer

by REALLY » Sat Dec 05, 2009 4:20 pm

The Katy Classic is moving to Bayer Park in Spring next weekend. Spring Sting will take over hosting duties for the 12u and 10u to help get it in this year. Once we have the final team list we will have pool schedules out.

Thank you for your patience and support

We would like each team to donate at least 1 assembled bike for the Marine corps toys for tots (not mandatory). This was our orginal plan for our tournament and we'd like to follow through with it as much as possible. If parents would like to donate one themselves that would be great too.

I'd like to see 50 Bikes loaded up saturday afternoon so every little bit helps. Not just big bikes but small <3 yr kids scooters, tricycles etc... anything to help make the holidays better for a child.

Also up now the new statistical coaches poll see who's in the top 15

You know where updates will be following this post :D

This will be 12's only (18) 10's Dropped to go chase Triple USFA points. Tarps will go down Thursday and unless 6 teams commit Pools will not start until Sat. Morning. Should be a great weekend. Plenty of teams are needing a pick up here and there if you have a player looking let me know and I'll pass the information along to the coaches.

Our Goal is to gather as many Assembled bikes as possible for the Marine Corps Toys for Tots. If you have a few minutes this weekend whether you are playing or not and can find it in your heart and budget to donate a bike please feel free to drop one off at the park all day Saturday watch a game or two and grab a hotdog. Walmart, Target and Academy are right up the street from the park. :D

This is a great cause. Listening to radio this morning and heard the DFW area Marine Corps Toys for Tots set their goal at 250,000 toys this year and thus far received only 75,000. I wish you luck this weekend and I hope the tournament goes well for the players and the charity.
