VTD probably likes the "G" man in his position. He makes it easier for them to take off in NTX. The old boy network will go down.

The 'G' man has made it easy...too easy. Preventing kids from playing a tournament next weekend just makes it crystal clear what all the FWASA chatter has been about for years. It's reprehensible that the JO Mish would stand in the way of what he's supposed to be promoting.

Now...come the threats. "Watch out dude, I work for a lawyer", or "the G man has money", or "you'll see!!!". Sounds like my 5th grader...

Guy's!!! guy's!!!! Your not listening so I will repeat myself.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lets get this straight. The softball world will always remain weak & watered down until we unit as one.USFA--ASA--VTD--ETC.... See where this is going. The sport we love and fight for daily is the same one we are killing. Are we stronger and better able to provide a good enviroment split up into 13 thousand different assoc. or like any great sport, company or country arent we stronger united. How can we sell a sport to the public or the media" olympic softball " without a national body overseeing this great sport.

ASA has taken the same stand as always sit back and let everybody worship us & we will give nothing back.They have not seen that new fresh thinkers were put into key position rather the good old boy method has been employed "do the same thing and expect different results". this is the purist form of insanity that you can have!!!!!!!

So instead of jumping ship what does everybody think would happen if we put this same effort into getting the proper management in our local ASA and STRIVE for Better standards on a national level ....... WOW I am way out of the box!!!! My bad!! NBA-NHL-MLB-NASCAR THEIR ALL IDIOTS AND WHAT THEIR DOING IS JUST A PASSING FAD..... SORRY DISREGARD EVERYTHING I SAID.

You are right.
Our girls, teams, parents and coaches made ASA what a name in NTX. And we can unmake them if we stand together and show them we are not going to stand for it. Only play VTD, USFA, Pony, even IFA and the h3ii with ASA.

Well my guess is that this tournament was NEVER ASA Sanctioned and would not have the insurance. This was a last minute tournament put together so I am willing to be it was never an ASA approved tournament.
funny how you ,Larry, want to throw out issues from the past when maybe there is more to the lovely story you told us earlier and a whole other side to it. There usually is.

So maybe just maybe Mr.Gotcher was trying to protect the teams signed ups pocketbooks.

Everyone wants to get on here and bash ASA when they don't stop someone from taking advantage of teams be it a coach or a tournament director. Then when ASA shuts something down it obviously has to be because of a uniform 3 years ago.

I guess the guy posting a defense of Glenn has not taken the time to investigate the situation. If you did, you would know it already had ASA sanctioning. It was approved. Tell me something, do you just take the word of anybody that comes along or do you take the time to find out the facts before you form an opinion. If you would have did a little research instead of just defending Glenn you would see that this is not made up. You probably do not even know what it is to have an ASA sanction. If you did, you would not make such statements. This was not an attack on ASA anyways. It is stating the facts about this tournament not being approved. I can give you a whole list of teams who have played in my tournaments before and a list of umpires who have called at my tournaments. I have never screwed anybody around. I am just trying to provide a place for girls to come and play softball. Here is a little experiment: Everyone that has been screwed over by Larry post something on here and everyone that has been screwed over by Glenn post something on here. Lets see what happens. I am not on a power trip like Glenn. I just want to provide a place for teams to play softball.
