cent wrote:10u Dude, it looks like you are not familiar with San Diego teams as you only include one, Power Surge. There are some very good 10u teams down here, but like you say, will they be around come Spring.

Power Surge just won the 10u City Championship, and Bonita Valley and Santee have very good teams as well. San Marcos Blaze I think they are called is a very good team as well. Thanks for what you are doing as it will create some excitement for the 10u's.

Cent: you are correct in that I do not have a lot of knowledge of 10U SD teams and the original list being passed around the past month or so did not have any SD teams. I do have SM Blaze on the list as #21. If there are teams that should be on the list somewhere, please post an "ADD: TEAM NAME" and your best guess where they would stand in the list (opinion) and we'll get them on the list for the first official poll next week-ish. That being said, I have only seen 2-3 SD teams in some TCS stuff and they do not come to LA based friendlies so it is difficult to gage them at the moment or know who is who. The same can be said for AV Heat, Raptors, Knockouts etc. as they only have appeared in 1-2 friendlies and at this time, hardly worth mentioning. Other teams such as "Rampage" participating in the Toys for Tots this weekend probably are not a travel team and will go back to rec. (Rampage is free to speak up and let us know your status). After the first poll the top 16 will be more solidified and we might just cut off the list at the top 20.

Thanks for you input, hopefully we'll have some fun with this and one of the purposes of this initial thread is to get more information on teams in 10U.

Nice job on the poll and information 10U folks. You did/are doing a great job SoCal10UDude. Thanks!

As seen from the bucket and DD having played all but one of the OP top ten, here's my .02. Based on true 99' players of course. :o

1. Firecrackers 99
2. Jynx
3. OCBB
4. Knuckle Up
5. USA Revolution
6. IE Elite (If all 99's? If not, then?)
7. So Cal Bombers (Northridge area team- R they still around?)
8. HB Breeze
9. Team Anderson
10. Power Surge

Platinum- Have you heard any rumors that there may be a 10U team coming out of the Chino area next spring?

Bubbawheat44: Great. Perfect. Very similar top 10's. Exactly the kind of feedback I am looking for. I have only seen SoCal Bombers in 1 friendly in the SF Valley a month or so ago. I believe they lost all 3 of their games. IE Elite is 1/2 98 and 1/2 99. The coaches read this board perhaps they will chime in as to their future in 10U or if moving to 12U.

I also heard HB Breeze is breaking up January 1, can anyone substantiate that ?

Guys, to clarify The So Cal Bombers will be around in 2010. We have not lost 3 games at any friendly. Our only two loses have come to The Firecrackers and USA Revolution. We look forward to playing many of these teams in 2010. Happy New Year

Heard SoCal Magic 10U is no longer active (#26). Can anyone confirm ? They did not participate in their own AFA Hosted Qualifier this weekend in Beaumont but heard their 12's and older teams did.
