Chris ain't hiding from anybody, probably just too busy at work. He is a good guy and very knowledgable too. Now would ya'll quit picking on him?

I would have to agree with you Mark!! He might know more about the sport than most of these negative people put together. So what that he gets a little excited from time to time. Who doesn't when you are as passionate as he is?

The primary reason that he probably isn't coaching anymore is because of all the crap that he had to put up from all of the parents, the coaching form the stands and especially the parents that took him for hundreds of dollars if not more, which is a shame because he had a group of girls, just not a good group of parents.

I am sure at some point he will be coaching again in some capacity, but after the parents learn to let the coaches coach. He will work as much as possible with a kid privatley if necessayr and never expect to be paid a dime and will not accept money at all!

I do not see anything wrong with sticking up for Chris(not the name calling part though). He knows the game and has tought his dd how to play it better than a whole lot of 99 players at this point, maybe even including yours?? Of course, since you hide behind a screen name and talk about other people (which is the norm for the spineless people on HB) I wouldn't know for sure what age your dd is or if you even have one. I'm sure you do and I would guess she is a 99.

I have never met Slap Leather but have heard nothing but good things about what he is doing in N Texas.
