There is a team from CA called Firecrackers 99 that will dismantle any team in Texas... IMHO

All this Texas talk may be senseless rhetoric once it comes to Nationals.

You wait... you'll see. I believe so far this Fall they are 30-0... Beat a 98 team in the finals of a recent
1-day tournament...DD played them this weekend and lost 22-0 after they had just beat teams 18-1 and 16-0 before that... They beat CA's best 10U teams in the same way!!!

Good luck with that buzzsaw if you make it that far.... ;)

With all due respect to the Texas teams and the Cal teams there is now a beast in the Southeast, the Birmingham Thunderbolts99 will travel west for a little pre-national warm-up this summer.

I will take a stab at the top teams, in no particular order:

Texas Threat
Texas Bombers
Humble Cobras
Texas Rampage
American Kruzers
Texas Blaze
Pearland Phantomz
Sneaky Cleats
Pasadena Angels
Kingwood Edge

If you are not on this list it is because you are either a '00 team that has to prove that you belong on here in the Spring or that you might still be riding the coat tails of a '98 pithcer and will also have show what you have what it takes in the Spring or someone is combining teams but can't really judge until early next year.

Recieved some good feedback about this team and did some research it looks like a good deal without the daddy ball stigma anyone have anything else on them? We'll be moving to the Woodlands after the holidays and would like to find a solid local team rather then continue to drive south.
Pm me if you'd rather not post pubicly

The Woodlands Thunder '99 is now Texas Sudden Impact '99, we are a newly formed organization with the Sudden Impact Gold, Former 96 Texas Peppers, and the Former 97 Woodlands Thunder.

Sudden Impact '99 is coached by a former college softball player who also has several years of experience coaching young girls. THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DADDYBALL, all playing time is earned in practices and in pool play.

We empasizes teaching fundamental & mental skills, teamwork, work ethic, and sportsmanship all while enjoying the game of softball. We promote unity and team first.

We are looking for players that are talented and have a high level of commitment with parents that are just as dedicated and committed as their daughters.

If you are interested or have questions please contact Bessie @ 832-524-8690 or by email bessie16@yahoo.com. All inquiries will be kept confidential.

Well after seeing the tourney in Mansfield I will agree awith a few and disagree on some.
Texas Bombers are real good!
Texas Threat good team they are softball smart.
Texas Blaze beat Glory and looked good.
Roughriders almost lost to a glorified rec team. and Threat beat them and EXtreme Heat. So take them off the list.
Black Sox lost to 2000 team and they were made as hell.

wtf does that mean?

Top two teams in the Houson area......
1) Humble Cobras
2) Pearland Phantoms

Come next spring they will win every tournament they play in except when they are in the same tournaments..............

I have a very reliable source for that..
