Magic Johnson buys the LA Dodgers for over 2 billion dollars

Ex owner Frank McCourt gets 900 million and still a partner in the land

How to make a billion dollars in 8 years without using any of your own money:
1) Buy the Dodgers with no money down.
2) Own them for 8 years, all the while sucking the life (and money) out of the storied franchise.
3) Sell them for 2 billion, pay off about 1 billion in debt.
4) Wala! You have a billion dollars profit.

Seems like there should be a way to remove McCourt completely from anything to do with the Dodgers.

Good luck to Magic Johnson and the rest of the new owners, hope they can get the Dodgers back where they should be.
