I dont. That was just the title that was posted on the headline.
CNN wouldn't want any active duty soldier out there telling the public that Israel can take care of itself and that we shouldn't be starting yet another war. Especially during a caucus that is jam packed with Israel loving, war-mongering neo-con RINO's who 's sole platform are threatening and bombing yet another country.

Frankly I think hat soldier showed poor judgement.
When I was a soldier it was made very clear to us that when we are in uniform we represent the US Army and that it was inappropriate to attend any kind of political event or express political opinion while in uniform because it could be misconstrued as official Army policy or an order to a subordinate. You were allowed to attend and say what you wanted- but NOT IN UNIFORM. The military wants to remain as apolitical as possible. They can not support or even have the perception of supporting a single candidate and/or party. We are not some third world, coup crazy military dictatorship. While I was in ROTC one of my fellow cadets was reprimanded for speaking at a political rally in uniform.
The military in the US falls under civilian control and despite what Black Widow thinks- swears an oath to defend the Constitution, not an oath to the President. The Pentagon carries out policy- it does not make it. We have a military that is made up of mostly citizen soldier National Guard and reservists.
I applaud this soldier for his service, but I am sure his CO is having a conversation with him today
