Guys, it was awesome meeting you all, sportsjunky, spazsdad, gone in 2.6, blind squirrel, and others, plus gone's and blinds' wives, definitely your better halves.

Numero Uno, I am glad you guys talked me into going to this tournament. I showed the pictures to my wife and she wants to go next time - that would be great. Thanks for the t-shirt, I am wearing it now, had a great trip home. Still cant believe how beautiful that place is - got a picture of DD1 at 3rd, the snow caps in the back ground and the shirt sleeve of Stacy Newman - all in one shot.

When I got home, I told wife, lets sell everything we have and move to Palm Springs. She said she didnt think we could get far for 20 bucks.

Palm Springs is like a beautiful cactus flower. It comes with thorns or shall I say "120 degree temps in summer" I know I live it. Every winter I forget the horrors of summer. We don't get the rain so all games could be played here during the winter months, but nobody wants to do the drive.

Well Donnie I didn't get to meet you at a place as nice as Palm Springs, but it was great meeting you and your better half. Tell your DD2 it was great playing against her and we hope she has a great season.

Enjoyed some great softball and some tremendous weather with my wife and dd on Sunday. I find it amusing when my 12yo dd starts critiquing the base running of a stud on the field. LOL!! I guess I should be happy she's paying attention that closely. We had the pleasure of meeting sportzjunky while we were there as well. What a great individual. Thanks for your generosity. Looking forward to hooking up again in the future.

Thats what I like about our sport, there are good people in it. All of you that I met, I wish we lived closer so we could do things together in addition to watching our daughters compete against each other.

Went there with my kid on Saturday afternoon, then all day Sunday.
If there is a softball heaven, I think it would be like Sunday was.
Weather in the 70's, beautiful blue sky, snow capped mountains on the horizon, great softball being played at the highest level...
and Fat Tire beer being served.... :)

Sorry I missed Donnie S, Gone in 2.6, and Blind Squirrel.

I was supposed to buy drinks for these guys, and I ended up having about 4 or 5 people buy me beers... 8-)

Still cannot believe how far Langenfield's HR went on Saturday. Over 300' at least, probably farther... :o
Deserve's got nothin' to do with it.
