Prayers to Katie Rios family

by frito_burrito » Tue Apr 30, 2013 8:38 pm

Kingwood park softball player Katie Rios lost her battle last night. This could have been any of our daughters. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family.

Didn't know Katie, but I had followed the story until it's unfortunate conclusion Monday night. What a tragedy and I can't imgagine the pain placed on the family. Sounds like the softball world lost an angel Monday night.

Flu like symptoms? This could indeed be anyone of our DD or other famil members. I can't tell you how many times DD has had Flu like symtpoms over the last 12 years of her life. It sure would be nice to know what the actual sickness was so we could be on the lookout the next time one of our DD come down with similar symptoms.

A parents worst nightmare. It's a long road in front of these people.

God bless and I truely do feel your pain. Hang in there.
