No apologies required. Trouble went 2 & out. Your Legends fared a little better going 3 & out.

14U WS was Glory, Ladycats, Paris Stealth
12U WS was Showtime 97, Outta Control, Lady Chaos
12U McKinney was Batbusters Spuria, Texas Pride 98 & Batbusters Rhine
14U Allen was Glory, Glory, Glory
10U Garland was Glory, Southern Edge, and 99 Cyclones

Anyone know what happened in Mesquite?

Glory beat Ladycats? I guess I had the top 2 right, but in reverse order. Never heard of Paris Stealth but congratulations to them.

So Glory swept Allen 14U.
Flower Mound 14U.
and Garland 10U.

No Glory did not beat Ladycats. I just threw the top 3 up there.
I guess correct order would be
Ladycats, Glory, Stealth

The Allen tourney was interesting to watch. I don't know who won the championship game yet, but Pool B was Glory 97 and Glory Mendez 1 and 2 and Pool A was Glory Poole and OK Finish 1 and 2.

General impressions:

Pool A was tough. Except for may be one or two of the teams, anyone could have beaten anyone. A play here or there made a huge difference. It was weird, one team that had beaten Glory would lose to a team that Glory beat. Another would crush one team and then lose to one that the victim of the pummeling had beaten. Glory Poole and OK Finish were just a step above and able to make the plays when needed. They had the most consistent pitching, but more than anything they had the most disciplined hitting and were able to manufacture runs when needed. They were also able to capitalize on mistakes made by their opponents. We and a couple of hundred others saw the OK Finish come back from a 6-0 deficit to American Freedom yesterday. It was pretty impressive, but I give credit to the AF for making it a game.

We didn't get to see as much of Pool B, but a couple of the teams were obviously developing. It got really ugly at times. The Glory teams were just too much for the rest of the teams to handle. Pitching, hitting, fielding were very solid. I felt really sorry for a couple of the teams that faced them.

Out of the 16 teams there, I would say about 3 or 4 had a lot of work to do and would probably be considered B teams. They each typically had a couple of solid players but a lot of girls who have a long way to go. Glory teams plus the OK Finish were just solid, top to bottom and had their stuff together. The competition among almost everyone else was tough. It will be interesting to see how they develop over the season.

Just my $.02

Sorry DallasFP. Didn't know that was not the order.

Congrats to Ladycats, Glory, and Stealth, as well as all the Glory's in Allen. Sounded like a great weekend of softball.

Glory 99's didn't come out on top..Southern Edge put them out in the Championship game in Garland...99's need to quit beatin up on those silly 2000's anyways...Good to see the young 97's put out the older 95's though...Glory's got some good things going on, looks like they are continuing with the pipelines..

Southern Edge will be competitive. I really liked watching them play.

Glory is Glory and still a top team. They are very fundamental and will always be a top three team.

Great games and great tournament

so what was the finish in Garland Glory first or Southern Edge first?

I have to say I was surprised that Glory wasn't out at High Voltage with all the top level 99 teams. You think they would want to work against the better teams.

where is this Southern Edge from? Haven't heard of them.
Are they playing in OK this coming weekend? Might have to check them out.
