USFAs site problem is a very simple problem...too many browsers...when you click on one link it opens a new browser,,,etc etc...the whole idea of opening up new browsers was relevant back in the day...but now with all browsers having tabs, opening links with new web browsers is out dated and a pain in the rear.
One reason I do not like or look at USFA is I don't want 15 browsers open. Not in todays technology world I don't need 4 web browsers open. I probably could reformat my broswer to open up new browsers as tabs, but even then I don't want 14 tabs for one site. Instead of using redirect and opening new browsers USFA should just have it when you click a link it take you directly to the page...stop having me open up a new browser or tab.
Another reason why websites used to use this technology was because they didn't want the user to have the ability to close out their site so easily. Meaning you take me to another page within your website and I close it out with the x button..boom no more your site. So what sites started doing was opening up new browsers everytime you clicked a link within their site, this way you had to close out 4 different browsers before you left their site. I just think that in a marketing scheme sure it might work...but in a service related industry this drives people away. Just my .02
