Who are the big tough teams at 10u level A?? are there any?

I hear the ball used at SZ is different. What's the deal with it? Does it alter the game? What is the effect on teams that hit well?

Looks like Gators 2001 or Edge in first one and 2 or 3 team race for 18th. Xtreme and CP should be in champ game. IIt is indoors and some teams have players missing for other sports. Xtreme has had players missing some indoors and Gators best pitcher has been missing several times at sportzone so who knows. Plus there 10s.lol. I will be there watching the 14s and hope to see some of CP, Xtreme, and Gators 2001.

This past weekend the Bulldogs went 6-0 and won the Jack Frost Classic in W. Lafayette. They tied the Heat in pool play and beat them twice in bracket play. The team looks tough to beat! Can't wait to see how the Bulldogs do at SZ in a couple weeks!

This is true BUT the Heat are banged up big time with two of their top bats plus an infielder and a catcher. Their ace catcher and a top hitter has a broken foot and just had abdominal surgery. Also, one of the Heats top hitters and middle infielders was out due to illness. The Heat had to bring up an 8 year old to be able to play for the weekend. Kudos to the Heat for still showing up to play and playing 3-3, 3-2 and 6-4 ballgames with the Bulldogs. The Heat and Bulldogs both were easily the top teams of the tournament. Crown Point is solid all the way around offensively and defensively. Bulldog girls are very very agressive at the plate and hit really well. The Heat were lacking a bit at the plate and had a few errors in the field that cost them at least one game. The Heat defense is usually much more solid but with 2 girls missing that is understandable.
Fun to watch them play and both teams were very good sports and competitive.
I hope to see them play again. The Heat will definitely need all their girls healthy and play an error free game in order to beat the Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs and the Heat both said even though they are B teams they are going to play in the NSA A State this year. So far that will be Indiana Heat, Crown Point Bulldogs, Extreme, Gators and Magic. Nice to see some new names come to the A level. They are legit!!

First, I want to say that we have played both the Heat and Xtreme and both are top teams in the area. We have not seen CP, but from what I hear they are also right there at the top, and we look forward to seeing them at SZ in a couple weeks and in the future. I am very happy that we have been mentioned with these teams. However, we are very young and until we start to beat these teams on a regular basis, I don't think that we should be. We have played very good games with both the Heat and Xtreme, but only pulling off 1 win and 1 tie. Until we can win more games against these teams, I would put us in the second tier or 10U teams. Let me also say that the Hoosier Crush and Edge both also have older teams with potential to be up at the top. I hope to see all of the teams mentioned at NSA A State in Columbus this summer.

Thank you,

Nick Carver
