I said a couple prayers for dry dirt, I aint gonna lie. We will all be okay, the sun is shinning bright over my crib. Good luck to everyone this weekend, be safe in your travels, make sure your DD is having fun and don't over throw your pitchers.

Make sure you come by say hi and support our great snack bar at Wheatfield.
I have some hey bucket shirts for sale..

Any teams that will be playing our team please eat 3 and 4 helpings of turkey, pumpkin pie, cake, soda, and load up on stuffing. Don't be shy to have 5 or 6 big glasses of egg nog and pile on the whip cream. :D

Has anyone checked on the fields? Are they playable Friday morning? Or is it up in the air? or...?
Don't worry about tomorrow. You did that yesterday.

Is the CA Tyson team playing in 16U in this tourney the 14U team he was recruiting for in August, playing up here? Or does he have 14's and 16's?

I heard from across the country that Tyson 14U is playing up. I also heard that Firecrackers beat the 12U national champs CA95. Sounds like CA 95 had a horrible game and that was the only reason they lost.

How do the 94 Jets and Canes look?

I don't know the final score of CA95 and Firecrackers , but I saw a few innings. First inning it was single , single , single , single...three runs scored. In a short game sometimes that's enough. The old saying "hit'em where they aint".

I had heard that a few girls off the CA 95 Natl Champ team had left to play for another team, is this true? and if so where did they go?

To answer spazmom's question, The Grapettes 12U team are in a rebuilding year with the exception of one or two girls, are a true 97' team.

The core of last years 12U Grapettes team is now on 14U AASA, with the exception of their #1 pitcher who is playing for San Jose Sting.

You gotta check out the new AASA 14U team cooler, now that is the real deal when it comes to high tech.

Good tournament, congrats to:
Firecrackers 12U
Sudden Impact 14U
Hurricanes 16U
Firecrackers 18U
All of these teams played well all weekend, some even flew under the radar. :D

"I also heard that Firecrackers beat the 12U national champs CA95. Sounds like CA 95 had a horrible game and that was the only reason they lost."

Making a comment like that really is ridiculous. Could it be that the other team just played better?

Congratulations to the Firecrackers 96's. The Firecrackers Lahners played well on Sunday when it counted. They beat Corona Angels - Lockman, Power Surge and OC Batbusters Snow. They were definitely the best team in elimination.

Corona Angels 95 - Mike Smith - last years 12U National Champions was playing in the 14U division not the 12U division. They beat the Hurricanes 94's in the semis and lost to Sudden Impact 94's in the final. Now the 14U Firecrackers Art did beat CA 95 Smith in a pool play game but from my understanding, it was well played on both sides. A 1-0 loss does not sound like a horrible. game.

Marty's 14U played up in the 16U division.

I believe the CA 95 did lose to the Firecrackers in pool play. But they managed to get to the finals so what if they lost a pool game.
