14U Regionals In Tracy RV Parking ?

Just wonderin' if any local Tracy Bucketheads can advise if there is ample parking for RVs/Trailers at the Tracy ball-fields? Do the cops hassle over-nighters during tourneys? What is that neighorhood like?

If you are playing at the tracy sports complex.. Absolutely not... However, there is an elks lodge not to far down the road that has RV hook ups. Not sure if they accept non-members or not. But definately something to check into.

Lack of space.. Parking is not great at the complex..Neighborhood doesn't appear to be bad and I am not sure about the rules but I would bet they indicate no over-night.. The closest would be the elks and it is really just up the road and looked pretty decent from what I could tell.

Here you go.. The rules do say no Overnight RV parking. I attached the link so you can take a look at the facility. I know there are other facilities out there that they use but I think they use this one the most.

H. There is no parking of any kind allowed on the grass at any City facility. Parking is permitted only in designated areas. Overnight RV parking is prohibited.

You think thats bad just wait until after 16U SoCal states are over and teams start calling to get those so called "blocked" rooms that ASA has set aside for 16U Nationals, yea right I guess every team outside of California qualified already because those so-called blocked rooms are history. Shoot if you qualify in regionals or the national qualifier in July, you will be commuting from Dallas!

JFYI,

The Tracy Complex is normally WINDY, there is little shade, and hot. You are going to have a tough time with any RV parking at this place, as it is city fields and I am not sure they will allow you to take up that many spots for an RV.

The OF grass is FAST, like a putting green and any ball hit in the gap, even a grounder will go all the way to the fence.


By the way, there is a burger place, old style like in the 50s called Walley's burgers, it is on 11th street (same as the fields) about ............ 3 or so miles EAST towards Tracy HS that is absolutely the best burgers I have ever had.

They have a 35 dollar hamburger that if you can eat in under a certain tim eit is free.... but good luck with that:)

The normal cheeseburger is just fine.
