Los Alamitos Softball 10U Division

What has happened to the quality of coaching on their Red team? I watched the 12U, 10U blue, and both 8U teams and they look strong and highly competative. If I was in their league I would be wanting some kind of change before districts.

it is unforunate to have a multitude of talent on one team but if the coaches don't know what they are doing.........from batting line ups, dp flex, calling pitches, and fielders positions. your absolutley right socalguy!!! but we all know how daddy ball is. you have to feel bad for the girls that want to play hard and win!!!

It is unfortunate that in Rec. Ball, most coaches get the position based on if their kid makes it and not based on if they are a good coach. I'm not sure how Los Alamitos does it but they have always built some pretty strong teams and showed that they had some great coaches. In my opinion, I saw a team with pretty good talent, but was unorganized. On my team, our dugout is spotless and all our bags are hung up nice and neat, not all over the place. The real shame is that some of those girls probably left good travel ball teams to play all-stars and now are regretting making that decision. The leagues need to understand that a good performance of their All-Star teams brings in more girls to play. If the coaches are not representing the league in a way that is positive then the league could see a drop in enrollment.

Which one is it? Are you an outsider, or have you been tracking this team? Make up your mind.

IF THIS MANAGER DOES NOT SEE HE HAS BROKEN THE CODE OF CONDUCT AND RESIGN I WILL HAVE NO CHOSE BUT REPORT TO ASA SOFTBALL

I doubt you will get the response you think you will.

AND YOUR ARE PROBALY RIGHT, MOST PEOPLE OR PARENTS WON'T STAND UP TO COACHES WHEN IT IS OBVIOUS, THEY DON'T WANT TO BE THE TROUBLE MAKERS BUT THE KIDS SUFFER FOR IT. AND THEN THEY WONDER WHY THIER KIDS DON'T WANT TO PLAY ANYMORE.

Why would an "outsider", such as yourself, be so concerned with the level of play/coaching of a Rec Ball All Star team?
