Bat Return!

by Cable Guy » Tue Apr 27, 2010 2:55 pm

So we ALL know how BAD Eastons warranty dept is! I speak from experience myself. We will NEVER buy one again.

We also know how GREAT Anderson has been. Thanks Tumble!

My DD currently swings a Demarini CF4. She cracked it during the So Cal Finest tourney this weekend. I just sent it back to Demarini under warranty. They will get it by 10:30am on Thursday (4/29/10). They said 7 to 10 days and I will have a new one in my hands!

Let the count down begin. I will report back! :?:

You know if you mishit the ball it still goes which is good, but if you hit it on the screws it just didnt have the legs the Rocketek does at least for my 12 year old. Needless to say we are switching back to the RT

We tested the Nanoteck with new RTs, Demarinis and eastons and The nanoteck seemed to be as good as the RT and Demarini and better than the Eastons. I guess every situation is different and every swing is different. We also test all these bats against the 04 and 05 RTs, no bats made today come close to the pop these bats have.

Anderson's return policy is awesome. My DD had a dead Techzilla after only 6 months and only about 3 months of actual usage. Anderson took it back, no questions asked, and we got a new bat in 4 calendar days via UPS.

Superb.

But now my DD has outgrown her Techzilla and is asking poor ol' Dad to pony up for a CF4. :?

I have to say, Demarini was very helpful and responsive to my requests. Lets just see if they deliver on the 7 to 10 days.

I recently purchased a Nanotek on Ebay, about 2 weeks ago. My dd has been using the Rocket for several years. I read all the hype, asked her to try it out. I think this bat I received is really flat. I hit infield & outfield with it in practice the other day and had to really muscle through the hits. So I emailed Anderson, and was told that they don't warranty bats bought through Ebay. The bat originally came from the factory? It wasn't made on Ebay, good customer service, YAH. All I wanted was for the bat to be inspected and if defected to be replaced. So to all who here about all that great customer service garbage. You can't buy a bat from your next door neighbor and still have a warranty. Just passing on the love.
