A very well oiled machine....IMO :)

Can't argue with any of thing said. Saw them in the final in Vegas and here at the Beach and what I see that sets them apart right now is how calm the entire team is while playing. They never get rattled and don't let the little things bother them. Classic example is their pitcher got squeezed on a few pitches, she didn't flinch, and came back and struck the batter out. No fuss, :( no sour face, :o just getting the job done! Their approach to the game is great. Bracky's sure has his work cut out for him this time.

Ah c'mon Charlie, your being modest. I watched that game in vegas where you guys looked dead in the water against bombers but remained calm and battled back to win. Overcoming adversity is just one of the signs of a great team. Granted, Bombers helped out alot, but still. Everyone has that 1 hiccup game, you guys just seem to always overcome it. JMO

Congratulations to Bomb Squad 96 for a great showing this weekend. They went 5-1 losing to Powersurge in the semi's.

The girls scored 36 runs and allowed only 5 runs the entire weekend. They had two shut outs and allowed one run in each of the three other games, then giving up two in the semi final game against PS.

The game against Powersurge was played very well with Powersurge coming out on top 2-1. Bomb Squad took an early lead 1-0. Powersurge came back a few innings later and tied it up. Powersurge added another run, making it 2-1. The game came down to the last inning with Bomb Squad threatening. Bomb Squad had a runner on at second. Our next hitter came up and Powersurge intentionally walked our next batter, putting runners on at first and second with two outs. Powersurge changed pitchers bringing in their big gun who closed it out. Very exciting game.

Great weekend of softball with perfect weather in Huntington Beach. :D

The BS96 and PowerSurge game was a battle for sure.

The previous game of PowerSurge Vs. the stacked BB-McNee game was just as intense. Great teams always find a way to win.

Blanco started the game and Palazzolo came in to finish. Blanco has been trying to recover from an injury and her pitching time has been limited so she can heal. All of the Bomb Squad pitchers did fantastic this weekend and we are very proud of them.

The manager quit on them and left 10 girls on their own. What goes around comes around..

and no they are not done they are moving ahead without the quitter..
