No one except maybe chanel34 :o No really nice job Power Surge. They surprised a lot of people and got a well deserved berth.

I did. Thought they would win it and may have to fire the coaches for not winning it.

Teams that came close to qualifying for Nationals include TNL (came in flying under the radar), Firecrackers 98 (tough draw), and Team Smith (3 bombs in one game).

Every team can argue that their draw was tough (there were a lot of tough teams out there), but the team that I believe got the toughest draw (based on tournament results) and is the best team to not qualify (based on Bracky) was Batbusters-Snow (lost to Batbusters - Ray, 1st place and Cruisers, 5th place). I doubt any other team that did not qualify can say their team lost their two games by a total of 4 runs.

I would say Breakers (Imoto) had Tuff draw as well. Batbusters Ray,Firecrackers 98. Take away 2 costly errors With 2 out and nobody on they win the BB game. Great Pitching Job By #21 kept them fooled all day Next they played firecrackers 98 another tuff Game. Oh well that's the way it goes.

Great Job to Breakers Sieber and Sudden Impact Have fun in Indiana.

the Breakers vs OCB-Ray was a good game, I really thought Ray was going to the losers bracket after Rays pitcher got in trouble and gave up runs in the first inning, plus they couldnt get the bat on the ball, Breakers pitcher gave them problems, Breakers were hitting hard and getting on base every inning after that, I was shocked that Ray kept his pitcher in there, I can see working through stuff during friendlies but not during a tournament, it almost cost them, hopefully he doesnt play like that during nationals, I wonder how many of OCB-Rays parents needed pacemakers after sitting through that game?

Phantom, looks like you may get a blue plaque this year.

Congrats OCBB-Ray, I underestimated that team all year but Ray must've learned something from Campbell from those years that they coached together.

Great job CA-Lockman, Don can also coach with the best of them!

Congrats to BB-ray for taking states and CA-Lockman getting to the ship. Both teams #1 pitchers were outstanding this weekend but I have to say 00 on CA was very impressive against us. Great hosting MG and great park even though I kept loosing which field was which.
A special thanks to strawberrylady for the bat. Im sure glad you liked the man thong bathing suit.

:o

the only one that I witnessed go over the fence was the one hit by an OCB-Ray kid during the Power Surge game

I also heard about a Team Smith kid blasting one out as well

Saw 2 huge homeruns from Firecrackers 98 in game with 98 Batbusters. Wow keep that team together next year look out.

Firecrackers 98 are a very good, scrappy team, they will be the team to beat next year 8-)
